Doug came to us after his human sadly passed away. He had lived with his human since he was a young pup and was a well-loved family member. Doug is a friendly and gentle guy with everyone he meets — both human and canine! True to his breed, he loves human affection, leaning in for a good rear pet or ear scratch. Doug is doing well in his foster home and has been very respectful and adaptable with his foster doggie sister. He is a quiet and loyal companion with his foster mom, hanging on the patio while she does yard work nearby. Doug is a great sleeper and lets out a good snore and a moan for a particularly good slumber. Doug is looking for his forever human/s to provide him the loving home he knew and loved in his previous family. He will give back in spades!

If you answered yes to both of these questions, Chee Yoo could be the perfect dog for you. Chee Yoo is a beautiful, 5 yo medium/large female dog that came to Jelly's Place from South Korea in July 2021. Why has such a wonderful dog not been adopted yet? Read further to find out. Chee Yoo is very timid and nervous around people. She LOVES other dogs, and has become best friends with another Jelly's dog named Pepe. Pepe has a very similar personality to Chee Yoo and the two of them are like 2 peas in a pod. Chee Yoo can guard her food which is not surprising given where she came from. So, care needs to be taken with another dog when food, especially high value foods, are around. During her time at Jelly's Place, Chee Yoo has gone from hiding in the corner to taking daily walks on a leash. She is becoming more comfortable and confident, but still has a long way to go. She has learned to trust her primary caregiver, but is still not comfortable interacting with other people. Chee Yoo would do best in a calm, quiet home with dog experience and older or no children. Chee Yoo is NOT a dog for first time adopters. She needs adopters who are willing to be patient and to give her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable, confident and loved. Another dog in the home is essential. and we prefer to keep Chee Yoo with her buddy Pepe. If you are interested in adopting Chee Yoo, we recommend that you come and spend time with her on several occasions so that she becomes comfortable with you. Meet Ginger, a 3-year-old, 50 lb retriever/hound mix with a curious mind and a heart full of love. Ginger is affectionate and playful when she’s not busy checking out her surroundings. She’s known for her “sneak-attack kisses” and loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch after a good walk. She’s smart and food-motivated, already knows sit, shake, and come, and is learning place and down. Ginger is comfortable in a crate, sleeps soundly through the night, and often chooses her crate as a comfy hangout spot. With her active energy, she thrives on walks and adventures, but also has a softer, cuddly side once she’s settled. Ginger would do best in an active home with someone who can keep her busy, continue her training, and give her plenty of enrichment. She can be excitable and pulls on leash when overstimulated, so a patient owner committed to helping her practice good manners will set her up for success. She can be (situational) reactive to cats (especially from the crate) and may have some prey drive, so a cat-free home is ideal. Eliana is appx 2 yrs old, weights about 40lbs and shes a mini golden! Very sweet girl but a bit shy to start. She would need another fur sibling at home to help her settle in more quickly. Shes vaccinated, microchipped and spayed! She does well with other dogs and shes sweet with people of all ages.
