Story
Rowdy!    DOB: 10/2019     Weight: 60lbs   Rowdy is a 4 year old Golden Retriever mix who was surrendered to us after his owner died. He’s spent his entire life as a yard decoration on the end of a chain in the yard. So at first he wasn’t the biggest fan of us and would growl and get snappy. He’s gotten a lot better though. He’s met plenty of new people and gets out to go for walks with volunteers. He’s usually quiet in his kennel run, stands and observes. He’s not all that interested in treats, but he does like a good squeaky toy and some yard time. He is house trained! He was adopted and returned recently due to being protective over his family members. he needs to be put up when guests come over and worked with to accept people.  His adoption fee is $175. That helps us to cover worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm test, and microchip. We offer a 2-3 week trial. If interested in adopting him please fill out an application on our website. https://www.newliferescues.org***YOU MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION BEFORE WE DO ANY MEET AND GREETS. QUESTIONS? CONTACT pcpoundpuppies1@gmail.com Our standard adoption fee is $175 ($250 for puppies 6 months and under, or small dogs 20lbs or below) which covers a portion of the dog's vetting costs. The adoption process includes the completion of an application followed by an interview. Click here to submit an adoption application:

Story
Hey there, I'm Dennis, and I'm ready to tell you a little bit about myself. My walker has described me as having high energy, which means I'm always up for a good time! I may not always follow commands perfectly, but I sure do know how to sit when it counts. As for walks, well, let's just say I can be a bit all over the place - but hey, I'm just excited to be out and about! Now, when it comes to other dogs, I just can't contain my excitement. I absolutely love meeting new canine friends and can't wait to say hello. Sometimes I even like to playfully chase after them, but it's all in good fun - I'm not aggressive at all. In fact, I tend to be pretty passive and let the other dogs take the lead. Oh, and did I mention I have a thing for sticks? There's just something about them that I find irresistible - they're the perfect toy for a pup like me. Overall, I'm just a happy-go-lucky boy looking for a family to call my own. If you're looking for a furry friend who's full of energy and always up for an adventure, then look no further - I'm Dennis, and I can't wait to become your loyal companion. Let's make some memories together - I promise, you won't regret it!

Story
Hello there, I'm Hamlet, and I come with a special request - I must find a forever home alongside my brother Macbeth. You see, we're bonded brothers, and we simply can't bear to be apart. We've been through so much together, and we're hoping to find a loving family who will welcome us both with open arms. First things first, I should mention that we're not big fans of cats, so we need a home where we can be the only furry friends. We're both partially housetrained and crate trained, but we might need a little extra help with our potty training - we're still learning, after all. Oh, and did I mention that we're quite the escape artists? We've been known to jump fences when left unsupervised, so we'll need to be kept on leash when outside to ensure we stay safe. Despite our little quirks, we're both incredibly loving and loyal companions. We've lived together with another dog before, and we even helped teach him how to be a great dog! Plus, we both have flea allergies, so we'll need to be kept on flea meds year-round to keep us comfortable. While we're not that big into toys, we absolutely adore spending time with each other and our people. We're both huge fans of car rides - there's just something so exciting about cruising around with the wind in our fur! So, if you're looking for not one, but two furry friends to join your family, look no further than me and my brother Macbeth. We promise to fill your home with love, laughter, and plenty of cuddles. We can't wait to embark on this next chapter of our lives with you by our side.

"Meet Spike: The One and Only Dog You'll Ever Need!" Hey there, humans! My name is Spike and I am a strikingly handsome 2-year-old male dog., but my personality is larger than life. As an alpha, I take pride in my independence and I'm always seeking adventure. I'm an active and playful pup who will keep you on your toes! I may have had a rough start in life as a stray, but I've learned to appreciate the simple things in life. That's why I'm looking for a special home where I can be the center of attention. As much as I love people, I prefer to be the only pet in the house. I know, I know, I'm a bit of a diva, but I promise to love and protect my humans with all my heart. I'm a people pleaser and I will do anything to make my humans happy. Whether it's playing fetch in the park or snuggling on the couch, I'm always up for some quality time with my favorite people. Just be warned, I will steal your heart with my charming and goofy personality. So, if you're ready for a one-of-a-kind dog who will be your loyal companion, look no further. Come meet me and let's see if we're a perfect match. I can't wait to find my forever home and show my humans just how amazing life can be with a little Spike in it. See you soon!

Story
Meet Bo: The Golden Mix Master of Fun! Hey there, potential forever family! My name is Bo and I am a 5-year-old male dog, currently in search of a new home. You see, I was found as a stray, but don't let that fool you. I may have been wandering the streets, but I am ready to settle down and be your loyal companion! Let's talk appearance first. People often comment on my striking good looks, and I must admit, I do have a certain charm about me. I am a Golden mix, but I like to think I'm one of a kind. My coat is soft and fluffy, perfect for cuddles. Now, onto the important stuff: my personality. I've been called an alpha, but really, I just know what I want and go after it. I may be independent, but I am also a constant companion. Whether you're lounging on the couch or going on a hike, I'll be by your side, ready for some fun. Speaking of fun, let's talk activity level. I am a ball of energy, always ready to play and explore. I hope you have a backyard for me to run around in, or maybe we can take long walks together. I promise to keep you on your toes and make life more exciting! I must mention, I am a bit selective when it comes to other dogs. I prefer to be the only furry friend in the household, but I am more than enough to keep you entertained, I promise. So, what do you say? Ready to bring some love and laughter into your life? Come meet me and let's see if we're a match made in doggy heaven. I can't wait to find my forever home and show you all the love and happiness I have to offer. See you soon!
