Roscoe is the calm, thoughtful fur brother. He has a soft, quiet presence that makes him incredibly easy to love. He enjoys playtime with his brother and the resident dog, but he’s just as happy to curl up next to you on the couch and relax. Roscoe loves exploring the yard, taking in the fresh air, and then settling inside where he can keep you company. He walks nicely on leash (just needs a little polishing), sits on command, and has great recall. Roscoe is fully house-trained and does great without a crate. He enjoys chewing on bones, watching the world go by from the window, and will never say no to a treat—he even likes dog-friendly fruits and veggies. Roscoe would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet, easygoing, loyal dog who loves quietly and deeply. Whether he’s leaning into you for affection or lounging nearby, he has a way of making the whole house feel more peaceful. If you’re looking for the gentle soul kind of dog, Roscoe is your guy. 🖤 Our adoption fee is $350 for dogs over 5 months of age and includes all vaccinations, spay/neuter, micro chip implantation and registration/transfer, heartworm test and much more. Puppies up to 6 months of age are $400 and this includes all sets of puppy vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip implantation and registration and more. Meet Lucille, a 46 pound 2 year old Doodle who came to us with her sister, Ethel. Lucille's foster dad says she affectionate, but reserved in expressing that affection. She loves to play with toys and is especially excited when she has a sock to toss around. Lucille enjoys going for walks and just being outside. She gets along well with both small and large dogs and is playful with her sister and the foster's dogs. Lucille is crate trained, is working on her housetraining. Both girls are looking for a quiet home with a patient family that can give them time to adjust and learn to trust them. A family without small children is best, as Lucille and Ethel can be startled by noises and fearful in new situations. Ethel and Lucille are timid with new people, but they have already come to trust their foster family.  They would both benefit from having another dog in the home to give them confidence.  A fenced yard is required. Lucille's minimum adoption fee is $250 plus a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
