Story
Foster Update for Styx from Texas by Ida Styx is making fantastic progress on his journey to finding his forever home! Despite his initial car sickness, he's learning to overcome it with patience and positive reinforcement. He's also been working hard on socializing with children, and we're thrilled to see him improving! Styx is a pro at both kennel and house training, and he's mastered responding to his name and walking on a leash like a champ. We're delighted to share that Styx has made friends with the outside cat, showing us just how adaptable and friendly he can be! Yay, Styx! He's also a total sweetheart with his canine companions, enjoying playtime and bonding with his furry pals. With each passing day, Styx grows more confident and trusting in his environment and the people around him. We're incredibly proud of his progress and can't wait to see him continue to blossom! Let's cheer on Styx as he embarks on this exciting journey of growth and discovery! Go, Styx! #FosterUpdate #StyxJourney #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #DogsofTexas I am not just another black dog! My name is Styx and I am a survivor! A real hero and I've made my rescuers proud. I've done so well with my training and playing with so many fur friends at the rescue! I really didn't think I would see another Christmas in my lifetime because the odds were against me. I had been at the shelter for some time and they had already set a date for me to depart this world. BUT, the kind folks at Let Love Live saw my sweet face and my loving and playful disposition and rescued me just in time right before Christmas. I love life. Im a people pleaser and I really enjoy meeting new fur kids. I'm happy, walk well on leash and love playing with other pups, males and females! I turn the other way if a pup doesnt want to be my friend but it doesnt hurt my feelings because I know how it feels to not know if the new kid is going to be nice or not. But Im the nice guy in the room. If you take a chance on me, I will not disappoint you. See, I never thought I would see another Christmas let alone get to be loved by another family. And that makes me forever grateful. I will be the most loyal guy you know. I'm just waiting for you to pick me to adopt and bring me home! xo Styx Let Love Live rescues at risk animals in Texas and many southern states. Their finder took them in and kept them safe. No family was found so the finder tried to find a rescue to be able to help them for placement. With the generous offer to foster this little family Let Love Live was able to work with the finder to start these pups on their rescue journey!
