Story

Meet Woogie — A Snuggle Bug Learning to Trust Woogie is a sweet 2-year-old boy who is discovering that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. In just three weeks, he has made incredible progress! His fearful accidents have stopped, he loves walks and car rides, and he has discovered the absolute joy of cozy beds and snuggles. Still shy around new people, Woogie needs a patient family who will let him build trust at his own pace. He would do best with children 15+. With love, routine, and a little time, this once-frightened boy is blossoming into the affectionate companion he was meant to be. And his personality is coming out in the cutest ways — including perching on the table by the front window to keep an eye on the neighborhood! Woogie has so much love waiting to be shared. All he needs is a safe place to land and someone who will show him that he’s finally home. To learn more about Woogie visit his page at: https://ragom.org/dogs/woogie-26-172/

Story

Winnie is a beautiful 10-month-old Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees weighing approximately 95 pounds, with a heart as big as her paws! She has a playful puppy spirit, an affectionate nature, and an independent streak that keeps life interesting. Winnie enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her people, while also showing the independent personality typical of her breed. She will need a family that understands the commitment of raising a giant-breed dog. She is strong, energetic, and not yet kennel trained, so continued training, consistent routines, and positive reinforcement will be important. Her future family should be ready to work on leash manners, basic obedience, and socialization while providing plenty of exercise and mental enrichment. She needs room to grow, opportunities to explore safely, and people who will guide her with patience, consistency, and love. In return, you’ll get to watch this wonderful young dog blossom into the loyal companion she is meant to be. Experience with large or giant breeds would be helpful, but a willingness to learn and invest in her development is just as important. Are you ready for a little puppy mischief and a whole lot of fluffy love? Winnie the Great may be the perfect addition to your family! Story

Joey is an 11 year old Goldendoodle who still has plenty of pep in his step! Don’t let his age fool you. He loves walks, staying active, and being part of whatever his people are doing. Joey is affectionate and loves being near his person, but he also has a big personality and tends to lean more toward the Poodle side of his mix. He can be a little persnickety with new people and may not appreciate overly boisterous dogs, so he needs a confident owner who will give him structure and respect his boundaries. Joey still has plenty of energy and needs a good outlet for it. A fenced yard would be a big plus, and he would not be a good fit for apartment living. He would also do best in a home without young children. Because Joey has a strong prey drive, he also needs a home without cats. For the right person, Joey is a fun, affectionate companion who still has plenty of life and personality to share. Adoption fee is $450+tax, please apply at www.campcompanion.org

Story

Lacy is a sweet, playful and curious 3 month old golden retriever mix and is looking for her forever home. She’s your typical puppy, full of energy and curiosity, with lots of learning still to do, but she is making great progress and picking things up quickly! Lacy loves people and enjoys being close to and interacting with her humans. She loves giving kisses and following her foster parents around the house to see what they’re up to (especially if it involves making food). She’s a playful girl who enjoys all kinds of toys, and when she’s ready for some downtime, she loves chewing on bones and treat puzzle toys. Lacy is also a very smart and food-motivated girl. She responds well to training and knows sit, lay down, and kennel up. She enjoys playing with other dogs and is excited to have canine friends around. Like most puppies her age, she is still learning appropriate play manners. She is in the phase where she likes to nibble hands, clothes and just about anything she can reach. She’s learning that people aren’t chew toys and is working on redirecting that puppy energy toward toys and chews. Lacy is also still building confidence when she encounters new people, sounds or things in her environment. She may bark when something catches her off guard or she isn’t quite sure about it, but she typically warms up quickly once she realizes everything is okay. She is doing really well with her crate and potty training! Lacy sleeps quietly in her crate overnight without accidents. During the day, she spends a few hours at a time in her play pen without accidents. She is continuing to learn potty training and does well throughout the rest of the house when given frequent potty breaks and appropriate supervision. Overall, Lacy is an affectionate and playful puppy who loves being part of the action. She has a fun, curious personality and is already showing how smart and eager to learn she is. She’ll bring plenty of kisses, laughs, and puppy adventures to her forever home! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $625.00 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 16, 2026, 8:48 am
