Story
Cooper is 3 years old and he needs to be an only pet. He is sweet, loving, and really enjoys playing with his plush toys and going for walks and car rides. He unfortunately does have resource guarding for people food which is why I rather have him be an only pet and that not be an issue.

Story
Jack is a 6.5 year old male AKC registered Golden Retriever. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations. We have had him since he was 8 weeks old. He is house trained, knows basic commands: come, sit, stay, shake. Could use some leash work. He is a big boy at 92 pounds but such a gentle teddybear. Jack is great with other dogs, children and all genders of adults but unknown if he likes cats. LOVES to play fetch with his tennis ball! Needs space to run and play or go to dog park daily. Jack does have seasonal allergies. We have been doing Cytopoint shots this season and it has almost eliminated any itching. I would like to see him go to a home with Golden Retriever experience that will spoil him rotten. He loves as much attention as he can get.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. To speed up the adoption process, please complete our Pre-Adoption Application. My name is Emmy. I am about 2.5 years old and 56 lbs. I am a great medium size. I am being fostered with kids, cats, and dogs. I am good with all of the above. I am a pretty chill girl. I will play in the yard and love walks, but once I come inside I find a place to hang out (like the couch). I am not in your face/jumpy/hyper. I am a really easy girl to have around. I am good in a crate, go potty outside, and am not a big barker. Adoption Fee 600 +taxes/fees If you would like to meet me please fill out a pre-adoption application at www.tailsrescue.orgHappy Tails Adoption Center is open on Sundays from 12-5pm. We are located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley. Dogs are at events based on the availability of their foster family. Please fill out a pre-adoption application so we know you are interested in meeting/adopting one of our animals.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.The breeds of our dogs and cats are a 'best guess.' We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a 'full grown size' of many of our younger animals.Interested in adopting me? Story
Location: Glenwood, MN This is Cassandra and she is simply wonderful. Cass has spent the majority of her life as a breeding mama but now it's time for live as a beloved pet being babied. Due to her life up until now, Cass is still learning exactly how to "dog" and has some quirks. She is timid when initially meeting new people and loud noises and fast movements have her scampering for safety. She's still getting the hang of stairs but crates like a dream and has been fine left out too. I'd say she's about 95% potty trained and her biggest hurdle is that there are stairs to get into my yard. Cass lives with dogs and a cat currently and does great with both! She loves the idea of fetch but doesn't quite understand it in practice. She likes to run around outside and gives the best lean in snuggles and sweet, gentle kisses. She hasn't met kids while with me but I would assume that she'd be fine with them as long as they weren't too rowdy. Cass is a goldendoodle with fur that leans more golden retriever than poodle so she does shed. All in all, Cassandra is a wonderful dog and her forever home is incredibly lucky. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Hey there, I’m Esta! I may take a little time to warm up, but once I do, I’m all tail wags and kisses! I’m a very sweet girl with a lot of love to give. My kennel is my safe space, and I sleep there soundly all night long. Food and treats? Oh, you bet I love them! They’re definitely some of my favorite things in the world. Now, I do have a few fears—loud noises and thunderstorms can make me a little anxious. But with a loving family by my side, I know I’ll feel safe and secure. I’m great with children under 12 years old, and I’m learning all about potty training on a schedule. I’m also crate trained and get along well with dogs of all sizes. But here’s the thing—I really need a fenced yard in my new home. Leashes and new things can be a bit scary for me, so having that secure space to explore would mean the world to me. Once I warm up to you, I’m a super sweet and bouncy girl who loves nothing more than asking for pets and belly rubs. Just be careful around my left side—I may startle easily there, especially since I only have one eye. I’m adjusting well to home life and am eager to continue learning and exploring. With a patient and loving family, I know I’ll blossom into the wonderful dog I know I can be! *I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. Ideally my forever home would need to be home during the day to help me with my potty training and not leave me for breaks longer than 3 - 4 hours. If you are looking for a best friend, please fill out the puppy application. The more info you include on the application the better so I can find a good match for my forever home. Get your toy box ready! **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue. Many of our puppies have a mama who was not properly socialized before coming to Underdog Rescue. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters. Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter. Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society. Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized. If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.  T his puppy requires an application fee. This fee must be paid within 24 hours or your application will be considered void.  We will not review or contact applicants that have not completed the payment portion.   Puppy Applications will be responded to within 5 business days, after receipt of the application fee.  Please understand that paying the fee does not guarantee you will be approved to adopt the puppy. Our goal is place puppies in homes that are suited for their individual needs. You may be willing and able to provide a great home, but if it doesn’t meet the specific needs of the puppy, we will not approve your application. We accept applications for puppies until we have a candidate that meets all of the requirements needed for the specific puppy and they have been contacted to review the adoption process as well as agree to all of the terms to move forward. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
