We have a transport leaving at the end of October 2026 from where we are located in Southern California to NorCal, OR, and surrounding states as needed for our adopting families where we bring our dogs all the way to their homes 💗 For peace of mind we never ask for anything up front. The adoption fee along with your share of travel costs will be due the day we arrive in person ultimately finalizing the adoption then and there with you. We would love to add Jazzy to our trip for the right family 😊 Meet Jazzy, our beautiful, petite Mini Goldendoodle girl, born April 4, 2024, weighing 29.8 pounds of sweetness, affection, and the most wonderful companionship you could ever hope to find. 🩷 She is fully grown, at a wonderfully healthy weight, and naturally smaller in stature, with a lovely little frame that makes her such a special representation of her breed. But as beautiful as she is on the outside, it is the heart behind those sweet eyes that has truly captured ours. Jazzy is one of those dogs whose love isn’t always announced with grand gestures. Sometimes it comes quietly, in the form of a little head resting in your lap, a pair of loving eyes gazing up at you, or a gentle kiss offered simply because she is happy you’re there. I cannot tell you how many times I have looked down to find her standing beside me, her head resting comfortably against my lap, patiently waiting for me to acknowledge her. And the moment I do, even if it’s only for a few seconds, she is completely content. There is something incredibly endearing about a dog who finds so much happiness in the smallest moments of affection, and Jazzy has mastered the art of making those moments feel extraordinary. She is incredibly sweet, loving, affectionate, and wonderfully personable. She enjoys meeting new people and has been amazing with men, women, and children alike. One of the sweetest things we have discovered about her is the special fondness she has taken to my almost four-month-old grandson. She has been absolutely wonderful around him, and watching her gentle, affectionate nature shine through in those moments has only made us fall more in love with her. She has such a beautiful way of connecting with the people around her, and I truly believe she will form an incredibly meaningful bond with the family fortunate enough to welcome her home. Before coming to us, Jazzy lived on a farm surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes. She shared her world with other dogs, pigs, goats, chickens, horses, and even a few barn cats! Because of this, she has grown up with an incredible variety of animal companions and has been wonderfully comfortable around them. Her familiarity with farm life has given her experiences that many dogs never have, and she has carried that confidence and adaptability beautifully into our care. While Jazzy does wonderfully with other animals and could certainly thrive in a home with existing pets, I want to share something equally important about her. She does not need another dog or animal companion to feel fulfilled. In fact, some of the most beautiful moments we have shared with her have happened during our one-on-one time together. There is a certain excitement that comes alive in her when she realizes she has someone’s undivided attention. Her eyes brighten, her affection becomes even more apparent, and you can almost feel how much it means to her to be someone’s focus, even for a little while. I genuinely believe Jazzy would be just as happy being the center of someone’s world as she would be sharing her home with other animals. Perhaps even more so, depending on the life waiting for her. There is something so special about watching a dog discover that she doesn’t have to compete with the world around her for affection, that sometimes she gets to be the reason someone stops what they’re doing, sits down, and simply enjoys being with her. And Jazzy deserves to experience that kind of love every single day. 🩷 She has a wonderful balance to her personality that makes her such a lovely companion for many different lifestyles. Jazzy loves to play, enjoys being active, and will happily keep up with a family whose days are filled with outings, adventures, and things to do. She has a beautiful enthusiasm for exploring the world and especially enjoys the opportunities she gets to venture out with us. Whether it’s heading out for a walk, spending time outdoors, or accompanying her person on a new adventure, she approaches those experiences with genuine curiosity and happiness. Yet she is equally content when life slows down. She has a naturally calm, patient side and does beautifully simply hanging out while we go about our day. She doesn’t need to be constantly entertained or have something happening around her every moment. She is happy to lounge nearby, observe what we’re doing, and patiently wait for the next opportunity to be included. That balance between her playful spirit and peaceful companionship is one of the qualities I appreciate most about her. Jazzy is also a beautifully mannered girl who has done wonderfully with the daily routines and training we have established here. She is house trained and understands when we ask her to go outside. She has been very responsive to our verbal communication, and one thing I would absolutely encourage her future family to continue is simply talking to her! 🙃 She genuinely seems to appreciate being spoken to and included in the conversation, and she responds so nicely when we communicate what we would like her to do. Whether we’re asking her if she needs to go outside or inviting her to come along with us, she pays attention and has shown us how well she understands the consistency of our routine. She is crate trained as well and sleeps peacefully in her crate throughout the entire night without fuss. She settles in comfortably and has been wonderfully content with this arrangement. However, I could easily see her transitioning to a little bed of her own beside yours if that is what you prefer. I have a feeling she wouldn’t need much convincing to accept any sleeping arrangement that brought her a little closer to the person she loves! She is adaptable, easygoing, and simply happy to have a place where she feels secure and loved. Her leash manners have been coming along beautifully, and she has been doing very well on our walks together. She enjoys getting out and seeing the world beyond our home, taking in new surroundings and sharing those experiences with us. I would love to see her future family continue building on this wonderful foundation, as I believe regular walks and opportunities to explore will be something she truly looks forward to. Another quality that makes Jazzy such a pleasure to have around is that she is not a habitual barker. Having spent much of her life on a ranch, she has been exposed to all kinds of sounds, animals, activity, and everyday commotion. She is quite accustomed to the world being busy around her and generally takes it all in stride. She may occasionally alert us if she notices something unfamiliar, as many dogs naturally do, but she is not one to spend her days barking at every little sound or movement. Jazzy’s story before joining our family is one that comes from a place of genuine love and the realization that sometimes the life we can provide isn’t necessarily the life a dog deserves to experience. Her previous family loved her immensely. She was cared for, surrounded by animals, and had the freedom and experiences that come with growing up on a farm. But as time went on, with so many animals depending on them and so many daily responsibilities demanding their attention, they began to recognize that Jazzy was becoming just another animal among the many they cared for. Not because she wasn’t loved, but because there were only so many hours in the day and so much of themselves they could give. And Jazzy deserved more than simply being one of many. They wanted her to have the opportunity to grow beyond the boundaries of their farm. To travel, to explore new places, to experience new things, and most importantly, to be someone’s truly special companion. They imagined a life where she could be included in everyday moments, where her presence was not simply part of the routine but something genuinely treasured. A life where someone would look forward to coming home to her, making memories with her, and giving her the individual attention she so clearly enjoys. Recognizing that they couldn’t offer her everything they envisioned, they reached out to us and asked if we would bring her into our care and help find the wonderful home and person they knew was waiting for her. And so here we are, with this beautiful girl who has so much love to give and an entire future still waiting to unfold. 🩷 Since coming to Bread of Life K9 Refuge, Jazzy has been such a joy to know. She has shown us her playful side, her peaceful side, her wonderfully affectionate personality, and the quiet happiness she finds in simply being near someone who loves her. She has continued building on her training, enjoying companionship, and receiving the daily attention and care that allow us to know her as an individual rather than just another dog in our care. Her veterinary care has also been completed, and she has received a wonderful report from our veterinarian. Jazzy has been spayed, is current on her yearly vaccinations, and has been microchipped. She also received a dental cleaning and polishing, with no extractions necessary. Her teeth cleaned up beautifully, and she now has a fresh, healthy smile to go along with that sweet face of hers! She underwent a thorough veterinary examination and was cleared by our veterinarian to begin looking for a forever home of her own. At 29.8 pounds, she is fully grown and maintaining a healthy weight. What I would love most for Jazzy is a home where she gets to experience the beautiful difference between being loved and being someone’s whole world. Not that she needs to be the center of attention every waking moment, because she certainly doesn’t. She is far too patient and well-adjusted for that. But a home where her presence is celebrated, where someone notices that little head resting in their lap and takes a moment to love on her, where she is invited along for walks and adventures, and where the quiet evenings are just as meaningful as the exciting days. She would make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys spending time outdoors, a family looking for a loving addition to their home, or someone simply hoping to find a loyal friend to share life’s ordinary and extraordinary moments with. She has already shown us how beautifully she can coexist with animals and people of all ages, and I believe her adaptability will allow her to settle wonderfully into a home where she is given the same love, patience, and consistency she has come to know here. There is a whole world waiting for Jazzy beyond the farm she once called home, and I cannot wait for her to discover it with someone who sees her for exactly who she is. A sweet girl who loves to give kisses, who finds comfort in being close, who is always ready for an adventure but never too busy to stop for affection, and who has spent her life surrounded by so many others while quietly waiting for the opportunity to become someone’s one very special girl.
