Story
Hey hey! I’m Tomato—yep, like the fruit! Or the veggie, depending on who you ask. Either way, I’m 100% sweet, homegrown goodness, and just like my sister Maya, I’m a 4-month-old retriever mix with a love for life and a goofy streak that’ll keep you laughing every single day. At about 27 pounds, I’m still growing into my big ol’ paws and figuring out how this whole "being a dog" thing works—but I’m doing it with wagging tails, floppy ears, and the happiest little bounce you ever did see. I’m the kind of pup who wakes up thrilled just to be here, whether we’re going for a walk, learning new tricks, or playing in the backyard with some squeaky toys and sunshine. My start in life wasn’t perfect—my humans gave me up when they realized a puppy takes time and effort. But I’m not holding that against anyone. I’m too busy looking ahead, dreaming about my forever home and the amazing adventures we’ll have together. I’m friendly, fun, and just a little bit clumsy in the most charming way. I might “accidentally” sit in your lap or steal a sock (don’t worry, I’ll give it back... maybe), but it’s all in good fun. And just like my sister, I’ll need a human who’s ready to be my guide and my best bud. If you're thinking of adopting a pup like me, here's what I need from my future mentor: Love and patience. I’m learning as I go. I need someone who’s kind, understanding, and ready to help me grow into a confident, well-mannered dog. Positive training. Treats, praise, and a little structure go a long way. I’m smart and eager to please—I just need you to show me the ropes. Safe spaces. I’m still exploring everything (and I mean everything), so puppy-proofing and supervision are a must. Playtime and exercise. Got a yard? A walking route? A toy box? Perfect! I’m down for anything that involves movement and fun. Socializing. I’d love to meet other pups, new people, and safe places. The more positive experiences I get now, the better I’ll be as I grow. A lifetime of love. I’m not just a cute phase—I’m a forever friend. Through thick and thin, I’ll be right by your side. So if you’re the kind of person who talks to their dog, laughs at silly antics, and always has room in their heart for one more wagging tail, then I think we’re meant to be. Come meet me—I’ll be the one with the big brown eyes, wagging my whole body just to say hi. Love, wiggles, and puppy breath, Tomato Tomato's adoption fee is $350. Story
Hi there, I’m Whiskey — and let me tell ya, life’s been a bit of a ride so far. I’m just 1.5 years young, a handsome little lab mix weighing in at a lean 32 pounds. I’ve got this cool coat — that people say makes me look like a walking masterpiece. But hey, don’t let my good looks fool ya... I’m more about cuddles than fashion shows. I used to live at a rental home with my sweet mama, Harley, but one day… well, let’s just say the humans left and forgot to take us with them. That was scary, but I’ve learned that not all humans are like that. Since then, I’ve been neutered, I’m heartworm negative, and I’m on Advantage Multi to keep me feeling my best. Basically, I’m all tuned up and ready to roll! When I first got to my foster home, I was a little unsure. New place, new smells, new faces — you get it. But I settled in pretty quick once I realized there were friendly hands, soft beds, and even other animals to hang with. I’ve lived with dogs, cats, and yep — even a goat! So I’m kinda the cool kid that gets along with everyone. My favorite thing? Being loved. I mean, sure, I like trotting through fields, sniffing the breeze, maybe doing a goofy zoomie here and there... but when someone sits down and says, “C’mere, Whiskey,” and gives me a gentle scratch behind the ears? Oh, my tail does a whole happy dance. I’d love to find a family that sees me for the sweet soul I am — someone patient, kind, and maybe even has a few furry pals for me to play with. Could that be you? Come meet me. I promise to be the best good boy you didn’t know you needed. Love, Whiskey Whiskey's adoption fee is $275.
