This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $300 if picked up in TN, $375 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Meet Captain, your new co-pilot in life! This high-energy, one-year-old Golden Doodle mix is all about spreading joy and kisses. Weighing in at around 67 pounds and still growing, Captain is a big bundle of love. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and a pro at being your canine companion. Captain will go in his crate for a treat and snooze soundly in his crate at night. Captain's love for fetch is a sight to behold. He's a ball maestro, using his nose to send it flying and fetching it with gusto. He'll even sweetly nudge his toy onto your lap, gazing at you with those irresistible brown eyes. He has a big bark and a soft and friendly personality. Captain's ideal day involves endless rounds of fetch and gnawing on tough chew toys. He's your ultimate velcro dog, always wanting to be in the heart of the action and right by your side. Captain enjoys kids but due to his size and strength, older, sturdier kids are a better match. Captain enjoys walks, and he's extremely strong on leash, so loose leash walking training would benefit him and his new owner. He's a pro in the car and jumps in, ready to go. Captain yearns for an active family who'll embrace his zest for life and include him. A securely fenced yard is a must for his adventures! If you're ready for a co-pilot who's always up for fun and cuddles, Captain's your guy. Let's set sail on this delightful journey together! Meet this dog at Dogapalooza on Saturday, Sept 23rd from 10 am - 2 pm CST at Cane Creek Park, 201 C C Camp Rd. Cookeville, TN 38501. Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. September 20, 2023, 9:12 pm
