     Adoption donation $799      Age: 4 months of 5/24/2024        weight 13 lbs        John Boy is a sweet, adorable puppy who is all wiggles and kisses, he is a darling quiet boy, very mellow for his ages. John Boy’s mother is a rat terrier of about 27 pounds and we believe dad is a small golden receiver/white lab.      John Boy’s mom showed up as a stray to a home in rural Mississippi house and gave birth a couple of days later. Wags took in the family of eight, taking care of them, giving the puppies their shots, and is now helping them find loving homes.       John Boy spent his early months with his mom and siblings, romping and playing and snuggling into a big puppy pile to nap. John boy loves to play with the other dogs in the home and ignores  the cat. He rides well in the car and is loving and a cuddle bug.  He is housebroken as long as he goes out regularly but may need additional guidance when he adjusts to a new home.     John Boy arrived in the northeast on Saturday, April 20 and settled in quickly in his new foster home, he will be neutered in the northeast when he is older, his neuter is included in his adoption fee at one of the clinics Wags uses or the rescue will reimburse adopters what we pay if you choose to use your own vet.   Wags is a struggling 501 C3 in rural Mississippi where one woman cares for 150 stray and abandoned dogs, many of whom are older or have medical issue and  require expensive vet care. I'm around 2 years old, that perfectly pawsome age to tag along with you on all your daily going on's, from the mundane to the exciting action adventures... I'm just happy to be with you! At 70lbs I'm a bigger gal but all that means is that there is more of me to put a whole lot of lovins on you. I'm just a big ole cuddlebug lookin for that special person to snuggle with! With my Golden Ret/Lab hairtage I'm got the shorter coat more like the Lab which is so much easier in the grooming department. It won't take much for me to be ready for all our adventures! I get along pawsomely with people both tall and small and with all the other foster pups. Although cats are unknown as we are not sure if I've ever met one yet. I'd make a great addition to just about any family with a 'sibling' or getting all the attention as your one and only! So stop me if you have heard this one...... I was walking down the road, minding my own business when BAM! I was hit by a car!!! You haven't heard this one yet??? Well, sit back and relax and let me tell you my story of despair and hard work and now, REDEMPTION!!! Yes, I was literally minding my own business- I was searching for food, water and maybe some love in the mean streets... The car accident actually SAVED my life and now I am in my foster home and it is SO AWESOME!!! BUT, I have a forever home out there looking for a hard working, happy and SWEET fuzzy (a little gray)face and I am going to find you! I am such a good girl, smart and sweet and huggable. I have been through alot of recovery and am getting around great (see I was partially paralyzed for a month or two after the accident) but with the knowledge and love of my foster family I WALK again! I am pretty independent now and ready for the COUCH of my dreams! Look at my video and see how far I have come. I am great with other dogs, all people and for my safety sake would LOVE a KID OF MY OWN!! I actually am AMAZING WITH SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS :) I just seem to have a special connection with the special kids and sure hope to find one to be my bestest friend!! In return for your family and love I will give you my WHOLE life of love and happiness. I mean, look into my gorgeous soulful eyes and ADOPT ME!!! My foster mom can tell you all about who I am and you can decide to adopt me! ***This dog has a special need from her family. Please identify how you will continue her special care when you adopt her- Noel has bilateral hip dysplasia as well as weakness in her back end. She gets around very well, but needs monitoring and a quiet home. She takes joint supplements daily for life and anti inflammatory meds.**** Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area. Temporary $50 fuel fee will be applied)
