This sweet boy is the sole survivor of 3 pups that were dumped. Tragically the other 2 were hit and killed leaving Solo to join our rescue in search of a great and loving home. Solo is going to be a big dog when he finishes growing. He is extremely sweet and loves people and children which is amazing after the neglect he endured. He is fully vetted meaning he has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and is negative for Heartworm and all tick diseases. He is learning how to play and walk well on his leash. He is also crate trained. He has not had a lot of exposure to other dogs but played well with another that he had met.

She is ridiculously happy, incredibly social, wicked smart and firmly believes every human she encounters has been placed on this earth for the sole purpose of rubbing her belly. She loves people. She loves dogs. She loves toys. She loves treats. She loves going to work with her foster mom, greeting coworkers and then settling nicely in the office for a late-morning nap after the exhausting responsibility of being adorable. Basically, Skye is an enthusiastic supporter of ALL THE THINGS. She already knows sit and down and is working on come and leave it, although she would like it formally documented that “leave it” is a deeply unreasonable request when the item in question is clearly important. Especially sticks. Skye has appointed herself Director of Stick Management, and she takes this position VERY seriously. She will locate the sticks. She will collect the sticks. She will relocate the sticks. She will bring the sticks inside your house. You did not ask for an indoor stick collection, but Skye noticed you didn’t have one and frankly found that embarrassing. She also desperately wants to help with whatever you’re doing. Weeding? Skye is coming. Moving branches? Excellent, her moment has arrived. Making dinner? Assistant chef reporting for duty. Preparing Kongs? Finally, a job matching her qualifications. Wherever you are going, Skye would very much like to bounce along beside you and provide supervision. And then there is her hearing. Skye originally came to us after being diagnosed by a veterinarian as deaf. Except… Skye apparently did not read her own medical chart. As she has grown, she has demonstrated functional hearing AND directionality, meaning she can hear sounds and identify where they’re coming from. So while we can’t know exactly what happened early on, it’s entirely possible this little overachiever was simply a late bloomer whose ears needed a minute to finish downloading the software. Whatever her hearing ultimately turns out to be, it certainly isn’t slowing her down. Skye is sunny, affectionate, playful, smart, dog-friendly, people-obsessed and wonderfully engaged with the world around her. She is the kind of puppy who doesn’t just want to live in your house. She wants to be your tiny sidekick, assistant, coworker, sous chef, gardening supervisor and Chief Stick Officer. She is, quite simply, an amazingly perfect little girl.
