Story
These dogs are great, super loving and playful, named Checkers (small dog) and Sherman (big dog). I love them, but I decided to join the Navy so I can no longer take care of them, sadly. I hope to find a great home for them where they can stay together. They are not sick, they are both roughly a year old, and they have no behavioral issues (although Checkers can be very timid sometimes). I am willing to help in any way, for whoever chooses to adopt these wonderful dogs. I will miss them so so much, but hopefully they will be happy with a nice family in or around Southern Virginia.

Kovu is also wonderfully social with other dogs and enjoys friendly playtime and outdoor adventures. His easygoing temperament makes him an excellent companion for a home that already has pets, or for anyone looking for a loyal four-legged friend to share in life’s adventures. He’s an intelligent pup, too — Kovu already knows how to sit and give paw, showing just how eager he is to please and how quickly he picks up on new things.
