Edwin originally came to us as a transfer from another shelter and is now on the search for a home to call his own. This handsome all-black mixed breed is still young and full of energy, which means he is looking for someone who can keep up with his active and adventurous lifestyle. Edwin would love a home with plenty of space to explore and enjoy the outdoors. If you have more land than you know what to do with and want a loyal companion to hang outside with you while you grill, relax in the sun, or just enjoy the fresh air, Edwin might be your perfect match. He truly enjoys being outside and would happily spend half the day soaking up the sunshine before heading inside to rest and recharge with his person. Edwin would do best as the only pet in the home, though he is not opposed to meeting potential canine siblings. He can be a bit particular about his friends, so any introductions would need to be taken slowly and there is no guarantee they will meet his high standards. Edwin would also prefer an adult-only home where he can feel comfortable and settled. This 55-pound chaotic teen is looking for someone who is passionate about training and has the time and patience to help him continue learning and growing. In return, Edwin will offer plenty of personality, companionship, and loyalty to the person willing to invest in him. If you are looking for a fun, energetic outdoor buddy who is just as happy relaxing with you after a long day, Edwin is ready to meet you.

Meet Salsa, the 57-pound wiggle machine who keeps us smiling. Around 8 years old, this bouncy girl brings a little spark wherever she goes. Her whole body gets involved when she’s excited, especially that adorable wiggle butt. Salsa can be talkative and may start a walk with some enthusiastic pulling, but give her a few minutes and she finds her rhythm. When she first came to us, she was cautious and unsure. Now she seeks out her favorite people and lights up when they’re nearby. She’s become a staff favorite because of her joyful spirit and the way she leans into affection once she feels safe. Salsa is resilient, loving, and ready to keep that tail wagging in a home of her own.

She can be a bit vocal at times, especially when she’s excited or wants attention, which only adds to her charm. Blue’s resilience shines through in the way she has embraced her fresh start.
