Jake the Great is finally here! This animated boy is 3 years old, a tall 55-lbs, and enjoys nothing more than some playtime, long walks, and cuddles on the sofa. Jake did not get off to a great start in life, and by no fault of his own ended up at a Scioto County shelter before being scooped up by PAWS. He is ready for his big break with his forever family. He has no known health issues and has been quick to learn how to be alone in the house when his foster parents are out and about. House trained, learning how leashes and walks work, but maybe a little impatient with dinner, Jake has matured into a more confident gentleman. He is good with cats and dogs and especially appreciates having somebody that can help him work through some of his boundless energy. His next family should be ready to be patient with the goofball. Jada is roughly 12 years old. I adopted her when she was about 2 years old. She is a great, loyal dog but does come with fear aggression. I had her professionally trained in 2018. She is extremely playful and treat motivated. She loves being outdoors and exploring. Since adopting her, I have gotten married and now have 2 young children. Due to her history of fear aggression, she is not trusted around my kids which is the main motivator to rehome her. She would thrive best in a home without children or other pets. My husband and I are searching for a home for her where she will have an exceptional quality of life during her final years.
