Meet Robert Downey Jr. Jr. aka “Bert”. Bert is a 2.5 year old mix breed - his mother is a doodle and his father is unknown. Bert is such a sweet and playful boy. Loves to run and play fetch but will also cuddle all day like a true doodle. He is crate and house trained. Unfortunately, we are downsizing from a house with a yard to an apartment and are unable to take him with us. He needs more attention than we are currently able to provide. I would love for him to find a home where he will be loved on like the sweetheart he is.

Story
Percy is a big, sweet, gentle goofball who wants to love and be loved. He is playful, smart, affectionate, loyal and incredibly bonded to his person. He is not destructive or aggressive. I chose “behavioral” only because it was the closest option available. Percy is a large, strong guardian-breed dog who is very protective of me and reactive on leash near our home. Condo living simply isn’t a good fit for what he needs. What gives me confidence in Percy is how well he does away from me. He has been boarded, attended doggie daycare, played happily with other dogs and been walked by staff without problems. He does beautifully at the groomer and vet and willingly goes with other people. Percy needs space to run and play and someone who understands large or guardian-breed dogs. Rehoming him is breaking my heart. He is a wonderful, deeply loving dog, and I want more than anything to find the person who will love him just as deeply. I won't let him go otherwise.
