I came here when my former owner could no longer care for me, but I haven’t let that dull my sweet and playful spirit. I’m gentle, good on a leash, and I love a good game of tennis ball—though I’ll admit, my attention span is a little short, so I’ll need a family who can keep me engaged and having fun. With the right home, I know I’ll shine as a happy, energetic companion who just wants love, playtime, and a place to belong.

I’m Chico, and while the shelter makes me a little nervous, my happy, loving personality still shines through. I weigh 70 pounds and came here when my former owner’s landlord wouldn`t let me stay, and now I’m hoping for a fresh start with a family of my own. I’m an active, talkative, playful guy who loves people, and I have experience being safe around kids older than 5. Give me a stuffed toy or a ball and I’m ready for fun, and when it’s time for a walk, I’m good on a leash too. More than anything, I’m just a friendly boy with a big heart who’s ready to bring lots of love and energy to my forever home.
