Story
Hazel was born August 2020. Father is a golden doodle and mother is a poodle. She is a sweet dog that likes to be with people. She enjoys walks and playing in the yard and prefers to be indoors with all the humans. Traveling in the car makes her anxious. Due to our current lifestyle and grown kids away at school, she is having to stay in kennel quite a bit and home alone many hours a day. It has been hard on her. She needs a more stable home and regular brushing because she gets matted when neglected or when staying at kennel for multiple weeks. We would love to find her a loving home.

Story
Ace is my playful, loyal, and energetic pup who has been a part of my life since he was just a tiny ball of fur. I got him from a local rescue, and he’s grown into a smart, affectionate, and goofy companion who always knows how to make me laugh. Ace loves long walks, car rides, and any toy that squeaks. He’s about 7 months old now and has such a big heart he’s great with people and enjoys being the center of attention. I’m looking for a new home for Ace where he’ll get plenty of love, space to run, and a family who will treat him like the special boy he is. If I had to describe him in a few words: loyal, curious, goofy, and full of love.

Story
Meet Apollo! Apollo is a smart and goofy 18 month old Goldendoodle who loves to play fetch and hang out with his humans. He is potty trained when prompted and let out often. He is crate trained but doesn’t like to be in there too long or alone for a very long time. Apollo loves to play with other dogs but still has puppy energy so he is still learning the rules of play. He has been trained and knows sit, stays on place and enjoys his walks on a leash. He’s about 35 lbs and still needs to gain more weight. He is very vocal so you will always know who is at your door or coming in a room. Ideally, he will need a fenced in yard because of his love of fetch and need to get extra puppy energy out. Apollo is very high energy and starts every morning ready to play and in such a good mood. He loves attention and chewing on his toys- he will even toss the ball to himself! Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
