A WONDERFUL COMPANION: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 46 lbs. & needs to gain a little weight Hi, I'm Salvatore! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am in a wonderful foster home now, just waiting for my furever family to find me—maybe it's you! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I like the dogs I've met at Mostly Mutts and enjoy playing with the dog in my foster home too. I am a little vocal when I play, so if you have a nice dog at home already that sounds like we would enjoy each other, let's meet! / In my foster home, I’m good with their cat who I pretty much just ignore. All cats are different, so I'm not sure how I would do with another kitty. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a handsome, sweet, affectionate and friendly boy with a happy, fun-loving personality and a talent for giving hugs! My foster says I am “such a sweet boy, super smart, and super loving!” I also have the cutest little prance when I'm feeling happy and have a calmer side too. I'm a lovely pup with a wonderful disposition and good manners, and I was absolutely heavenly in the bathtub—sweet, gentle, and perfectly behaved! I'm a happy boy who loves people and has plenty of affection to share. / Energy level: 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the 'sit', 'stay', 'come', 'leave it' and 'place' commands and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners were good at Mostly Mutts, however in my foster I don’t like being in my crate and have broken out of it, so a family that is home a lot and has a lot of time to give me would be best! / My potty manners have been very good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I like playing with toys, having fun with my dog friends, and spending time with the nice volunteers! I'm always happy to have some fun and enjoy some attention. I'm sure we’ll discover lots more things we like doing together in our new home! / As mentioned above, I don’t like being in my crate or being left alone. I would much rather be with my people. Like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I'm a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family!
