Story
We are looking to rehome our 1-year-old female Goldendoodle to a home that can give her the time, structure, and stimulation she needs. She is a sweet, affectionate, and very smart dog, but she is high-energy and bored in our current environment. We live on a property with chickens, and she has a strong prey drive and has killed chickens despite our efforts. She also has a history of escaping fencing, so she will need secure containment or leash-based exercise. She would do best in: • An active home • No chickens or livestock • Someone with experience with high-energy or working-type dogs • A home committed to training, enrichment, and regular exercise Additional info (being fully transparent): • Her coat is currently matted in places and will need grooming • She is not up to date on vaccines at this time • She is not aggressive toward people This decision has not been easy, but we believe she deserves a home that better matches her needs. We are happy to answer questions.
