I rescued him privately a couple years back (2023) and he’s been glued to my hip since, he was originally an outside dog for my bosses daughter and her husband and they had him constantly locked up in a 6ftx10 outside kennel. It has been really hard to break his habit of wanting a confined space. He is indoors kennel trained and respects the “go to bed” command I love this dog with all my heart and I hate to see him go but I work 10 hour days and I’m not at my house frequently enough to be taking care of an animal. Some things you have to know about him He is really intelligent He loveeeeesss deep ear scratches He is a jumper and loves being pet up close and personal He can only eat lamb and rice formula dog food, I’ve tried others and he got really sick He isn’t malnourished but extremely skinny and lanky, the vet says it’s from lack of activity and being depressed from lack of affection. He’s a really good dog and I don’t want him to go but I can’t take care of him anymore

Moose is a handsome 1½-year-old boy who is just about as perfect as they come! This happy-go-lucky pup loves everyone he meets, including people, other dogs, and even cats (after an initial chase to satisfy his curiosity). Moose is an excellent car rider and is always ready for an adventure. Whether it's going for walks, playing with his favorite squeaky toys, or curling up for snuggles, he's happiest when he's spending time with his people. He has a wonderful personality and loves being included in all the family fun. Moose has done very well with his potty training and, with a consistent routine, should have it mastered in no time. He would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely run and play. A canine companion would be a bonus, but an active family committed to keeping him engaged and involved would make him just as happy. If you're looking for a loving, playful, and loyal companion who is always up for fun and cuddles, Moose may be the perfect addition to your family! Moose is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heart worm preventative, and microchipped. Moose’s adoption fee is $400.00

Dixie was purchased from Jennalee doodles in Charleston S.C. at eight weeks old. She is turned eight on 3/16. She trained at Kennelwood with the best trainers. I was involved with training & we continued for a few years as it was giving her socialization & learning skills. She loves kids, dogs, cats & is very sweet. Unfortunately for me is I can no longer afford the expense. Looking for the perfect fit for my beautiful Dixie.
