Story
We adopted Harper from her previous owner when she was 5, and we have had her 7 years. My spouse and I are divorcing and selling the house, and there are difficulties in both our relocation situations and schedules that will not allow Harper to have quality of life or care that she needs. Harper is a senior dog but very fit and active with no physical issues. Behavior that is challenging: counter surfing and getting into things she knows are off limits. She is very sweet and gentle with kids and adults - gets excited around other dogs and seems to be curious about cats (but hasn’t spent much extended time around them). We have never had any incident of biting or aggression towards people. We love this dog but cannot keep her. We hope she will find a new home with someone who can give her the attention we are no longer able to provide.

Story
Bailey is a cutie male FB1 Goldendoodle. He will be 6rys old in September. He’s happy and loves to play. He greets everyone excitedly at the door (but also likes to jump on our guests). He has been trained for commands like, sit; stay; come; down; “take a break” (which means try and use the potty). He has never been allowed on furniture or our bed. He sleeps in a dog bed in our room. The reason we are looking to rehome him is that he’s 65 pounds and strong. He has a TON of energy and it’s hard for me and my husband (who are in our mid-50’s) to sometimes handle him. He does require playing and walks because he is high energy. He’s never been aggressive (not even with his food). Also, since our kids have left home, we are traveling more. He is needy for attention (we kind of like that part of him). He likes to be petted and will follow you around the house. He has never had health issues.

Story
HiWe have made the very difficult decision to rehome our Mini Goldendoodle, Ruby. She is 4 years old and turns 5 in November. Ruby is incredibly sweet, loving, affectionate, and loves being around her family. She is great with kids, does well with other animals, and has never been aggressive or mean. With our busy schedules, we aren’t able to give her the time and attention she deserves. She would do best with someone who can give her more companionship, exercise, and consistency.Ruby does have a few behaviors that will require patience and continued training. She has also been dealing with some stomach/GI issues over the last couple months, including occasional diarrhea and some weight loss. She is still her happy, loving self, but we want to be transparent and are happy to share more details privately. Our priority is finding Ruby a safe, loving forever home where she can be part of the family and get all the love she deserves.

Story
Rowan is a sweet, loving 3-year-old Goldendoodle who has so much love to give. He is affectionate, playful, house-trained, and loves being close to his people. He is great with people and kids, does well with other dogs, and regularly attends doggy daycare, where he loves playing and socializing. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.Rowan was recently diagnosed with Addison’s disease, a manageable lifelong condition that requires daily medication and routine veterinary care. Unfortunately, the unexpected cost of his medical needs has created financial strain, requiring me to work additional hours and leaving me unable to provide the time and care he deserves. This is an incredibly difficult decision, and my priority is finding Rowan a loving, stable home that can manage his medical needs. He is a wonderful, affectionate boy who deserves the very best.

Story
Meet Fancy, a beautiful Doodle girl with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life! Sadly, this lovely 67 lb. girl was found as a stray and never reclaimed. She and a buddy spent quite a bit of time running around Washington County. It`s suspected that she may have been a puppy mill dog who was turned out. Fancy was a little underweight when she came to Misty Eyes, but with proper care and good nutrition, she has begun to be the gorgeous dog she’s meant to be. She is friendly, active, playful and full of fun. She may be shy when first meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and is eager to make friends. Once she feels comfortable, her happy and affectionate nature shines through.Fancy`s adventurous spirit means she’ll thrive with an active adopter who can provide plenty of exercise, structure and companionship. Fancy has tested positive for Lyme disease and Ehrlilchia, both tick-borne diseases. The positive test result does not mean that she has either disease; it means she has been exposed to them and has antibodies. It`s crucial that she be kept on tick preventatives to avoid further tick bites. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion and are prepared to keep up with this clever, energetic girl, Fancy may be the perfect addition to your family. To meet Fancy, please complete an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.
