Elvis does best with older children who understand and respect his boundaries. He must be the only dog in the home, and a home without cats is preferred. We’re looking for a safe, loving, permanent home where Elvis can get the attention and care he deserves.

Story
We adopted Harper from her previous owner when she was 5, and we have had her 7 years. My spouse and I are divorcing and selling the house, and there are difficulties in both our relocation situations and schedules that will not allow Harper to have quality of life or care that she needs. Harper is a senior dog but very fit and active with no physical issues. Behavior that is challenging: counter surfing and getting into things she knows are off limits. She is very sweet and gentle with kids and adults - gets excited around other dogs and seems to be curious about cats (but hasn’t spent much extended time around them). We have never had any incident of biting or aggression towards people. We love this dog but cannot keep her. We hope she will find a new home with someone who can give her the attention we are no longer able to provide.

Meet Chloe!Chloe is a 1 year old Saint Bernard/ Poodle mix. Shes a happy, healthy girl full of energy. Chloe is a taller, lean girl who weighs about 55lbs, though she looks much bigger. She loves the company of other dogs and people, and is all around a sweet lady. Shes working on crate training, potty training, and basic manners (shes doing great!). Chloe is a typical energetic doodle, and would thrive in an active home who can provide her with plenty of activity and enrichment. Her new owner will need to be familiar with grooming needs she will have.Chloe is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on flea/heartworm prevention. We had lived for 20+ years on more than 10 acres where our dogs come in and out of house as they pleased (we had an electronic dog door w a sensor on their collars that would activate when they got close to it) and so although they were “inside” dogs, they could be outside whenever they wanted. We have recently moved to a house in downtown Indy and we have no yard. They have been chewing non food items (papers, the walls) which had NEVER happened before. This is despite long walks three times a day. Lilly (and his 11 yo brother Walt ) seem miserable. SHe is healthy
