Story
This is Scoot, A one year old golden doodle about 40lbs. He loves his walks, his toys playing catch, playing with other dogs and car rides. Scoot has proven to be a good dog, knows his basic commands, crate trained, has gone through basic training classes, doggy daycare multiple times. With that being said, scoot does need some more work & keeping up on training, he needs puzzles, stimulation, good exercise and a patient owner. He still has some puppy energy. While scoot has grown up with children all ages we know scoot should be in a home without younger children as he tends to be fearful sometimes. He wants to be the center of attention if possible.. so being the Only dog or one of 2 in the house would probably be best. He is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and neutered.

Story
Bailey is our sweet 5 year old golden doodle who we have had since she was 8 weeks old. She is wonderful with our small children, and loves to play fetch and run around the yard, and just hang around the house. Bailey has never interacted with cats, but she was bit by a dog who was off leash when she was on leash so she prefers being introduced slowly to new dog friends. At 2 1/2, Bailey had her first seizure, and was disoriented and frightened when coming out of it. Because of a toddler and infant at home, she was put on medication. That medication worked well for over two years, but with 4 breakthrough seizures, she had to switch meds. This medication is easy to administer and well tolerated, but makes her more food driven. Because of this and our inability to work remote, she is in her crate the majority of the day and this is not how we want her to live. We would love to see Bailey in a home where her people are home more often than not and she has the ability to play!

💖 Temperament Goldendoodles are well known for being: Affectionate and friendly — great family and therapy dogs Intelligent and trainable — they thrive with positive reinforcement and clicker training Energetic and social — need regular play and human interaction Good with children and other pets — when properly socialized They often retain the gentle nature of the Golden Retriever and the clever, lively personality of the Poodle. 🧠 Training and Activity Needs Goldendoodles are eager learners and benefit from mental stimulation: Daily walks, fetch, swimming, and puzzle toys Excellent candidates for agility, obedience, and service work Sensitive to harsh corrections — respond best to reward-based training Without sufficient exercise and attention, they can develop boredom-related behaviors (chewing, barking, digging). 🩺 Lifespan Average lifespan: 10–15 years Regular grooming, ear cleaning, and are important for keeping them healthy.
