Story
Meet Martha! This 3-month-old puppy is equal parts adorable, athletic, and chaotic. In other words, they’re fully committed to the “baby shark” phase of puppyhood. Their mom was a Lab/Standard Poodle mix (labradoodle), their dad was a German Shepherd/Pit Bull mix, and they are expected to grow into large, active dogs. These pups are looking for adopters who are ready to invest the time, patience, and love that raising a puppy requires. Positive reinforcement training, plenty of exercise, socialization, enrichment, and lots of appropriate chew toys will help these little land sharks grow into wonderful lifelong companions. If you’re dreaming of a dog to hike with, play with, train, and eventually curl up with after a busy day, one of this pups could be your perfect match. Bring your sense of humor, a pocket full of treats, and a commitment to helping your new best friend become the amazing dog they’re meant to be. Martha was in a home briefly, and while she did well at lots of things and was very smart, she did chase and bother the cat in the home.If you are interested in adopting, please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm during our walk-in adoption hours. If you currently have a dog, please bring them too!

Story
Meet Love, a 4½-year-old large Spaniel mix with a gentle soul who`s looking for someone willing to let her bloom at her own pace. New people can be a little intimidating for Love, and she may be shy when you first meet her, but with a little patience and kindness, she warms up surprisingly quickly and lets her sweet personality shine.Love truly enjoys the company of other calm, friendly dogs and would likely thrive with a respectful canine companion who can help boost her confidence. She`s happiest around easygoing friends and would love a home that matches her relaxed personality. Because she can be sensitive to new situations, Love is looking for an adult-only home where she can settle in without the hustle and bustle of young children. With slow, proper introductions, she may also do well with a dog-savvy cat.Like many Spaniels, Love arrived at the shelter with a double ear infection. While this may have simply been a one-time issue, her breed and those thick, floppy ears make her more prone to developing ear infections throughout her life. Her new family should be comfortable monitoring her ears, keeping them clean and dry, and working with their veterinarian if ear issues arise in the future. If you`re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little time to trust, Love is ready to show you just how deserving of her name she is. Give her a chance, and you`ll gain a devoted best friend who will happily spend her days by your side.

She does great with kids and enjoys the company of other animals, making her a wonderful addition to a family home. Story
Bindi is a very shy girl. She needs a home where she has time to open up. She will need to be crated at first when you leave or she will bolt out the door. Having a leash on her inside the first few weeks so someone to grab it as there's goes in and out will be a must so she doesnt bolt out the door as well. She was gone for a week this way. Once she opens up shes fine. She is a big love bug who loves attention and is very food motivated. She will come with grooming table and everything. She loves car rides and loves walks. She just needs an owner with a lot of patience at first. She was abused by a man when she fell into our lap. The way it was explained to us was he was beating her for having accidents on the floor. She was able to be housebroken successfully with patience. She currently lives with small dogs and 3 children. Youngest she has lived with is 6. I would like to see her in an adult only home though as she does avoid children.

Story
Earl **Not Available to Be Seen Until Open House on WednesdayJuly 29** Good with Kids & Dogs! Meet Earl! 4 yrs./10 lb./Male/Poodle Mix Name: Earl Age: 4 Years Weight: 10 lbs Breed: Poodle Mix Status: Tiny comedian seeking a forever audience ❤️ About Me: Hi, I'm Earl! If you've ever wanted to live with a dog who keeps life interesting, you've found your guy. I'm equal parts charm, mischief, and personality packed into one adorable 10-pound package. I've got a knack for making people laugh without even trying. Sometimes it's my expressive little face, sometimes it's the way I dramatically supervise everything you're doing, and sometimes it's because I somehow end up in the middle of the action just to see what's going on. Life is more fun when you don't take yourself too seriously—and I definitely don't. When I'm not busy entertaining, I'm happy to curl up beside my favorite humans for some well-earned snuggles. I may be a funny little guy, but I'm also sweet, affectionate, and ready to be someone's loyal sidekick. Best Qualities • Hilarious personality with endless character • Sweet, affectionate, and loves attention • Compact size—easy to bring along on adventures • Always ready to brighten your day • Equal parts cuddle buddy and comic relief My Ideal Match Someone who appreciates a dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. If you laugh often, don't mind having a tiny supervisor follow you around, and believe every day is better with a little silliness, we'll get along just fine. Deal Breakers • Taking life too seriously • Not appreciating my world-class comedic timing • Expecting me to blend into the background (not happening!) Fun Fact I'm only 10 pounds... but I somehow manage to have the confidence of a 100-pound dog and the comedic timing of a sitcom star.
