Story
With much regret, my family and I have ultimately decided to rehome our puppy Forrest. He is an incredible pup! He is crate trained, knows sit, rest, stay, place. He is a super chill pup! Not much of a barker, loosening up of his nipping phase, jumps when excited but overall very very chill. He really is a great boy! I just have so much going on in my life right now with two toddler boys and one on the spectrum. I truly thought getting a puppy for him would help him emotionally but it hasn’t really changed anything. At this point it’s just more work for me to work with my son and train my puppy to be where I want him to be for my son that I just don’t know how to do. I just started working too. A lot of transitions for everyone. We’re looking for an experienced adopter, who can work with him, he can be very skiddish with going up/down stairs, or going in/out crate, loud noises. He will come with EVERYTHING, food, bowls, crate, place pad, grooming supplies, collar, leash, etc

Story
Meet Love, a 4½-year-old large Spaniel mix with a gentle soul who`s looking for someone willing to let her bloom at her own pace. New people can be a little intimidating for Love, and she may be shy when you first meet her, but with a little patience and kindness, she warms up surprisingly quickly and lets her sweet personality shine.Love truly enjoys the company of other calm, friendly dogs and would likely thrive with a respectful canine companion who can help boost her confidence. She`s happiest around easygoing friends and would love a home that matches her relaxed personality. Because she can be sensitive to new situations, Love is looking for an adult-only home where she can settle in without the hustle and bustle of young children. With slow, proper introductions, she may also do well with a dog-savvy cat.Like many Spaniels, Love arrived at the shelter with a double ear infection. While this may have simply been a one-time issue, her breed and those thick, floppy ears make her more prone to developing ear infections throughout her life. Her new family should be comfortable monitoring her ears, keeping them clean and dry, and working with their veterinarian if ear issues arise in the future. If you`re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little time to trust, Love is ready to show you just how deserving of her name she is. Give her a chance, and you`ll gain a devoted best friend who will happily spend her days by your side.

She loves to cuddle up on the couch for quality time just as much as she loves to play and have fun. Whether it’s chasing toys, running around with other animals, or relaxing beside you after a long day, she’s happiest being around her people. She does great with kids and enjoys the company of other animals, making her a wonderful addition to a family home. Story
Meet Khaki! 🐾 This handsome, scruffy pup with an irresistible smile and a playful personality is impossible not to love. Once he feels comfortable, he's full of goofy antics, loves to play, and is always ready to be part of the fun. Whether he's chasing toys, exploring the outdoors, or making you laugh with his silly expressions, Khaki is happiest when he has something to do. Like many fearful dogs, Khaki can be nervous around new people and in unfamiliar situations. He's looking for a dog-experienced, adult-only home that understands building trust takes time. With patience and consistency his sweet, affectionate personality continues to blossom. Khaki is an active dog who will thrive with a family that enjoys walks, hikes, playtime, and other adventures. He's smart, eager to learn, and would love a home committed to continuing his training while giving him plenty of mental and physical enrichment. A quiet home in a peaceful neighborhood is the best fit for Khaki. Busy apartments, city living, and frequent visitors would be overwhelming for him. He'll do best in a calm environment where he can settle in, gain confidence, and enjoy life at his own pace. Khaki has done well with other dogs and may enjoy having a confident canine friend to help show him the ropes, though it's not required. If you're an active, patient adopter who understands that the best relationships take time to build, Khaki is ready to reward you with endless smiles, loyal companionship, and plenty of fun-filled adventures. ❤️

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Lady! She is approximately 4 years old, 48 lbs currently, and she may have some doodle in her mix! She was surrendered after her former family could no longer care for her. In her foster home, she is doing great with her house training, crate training but isn`t used to going on leashed walks. She could join households with other dogs, kids 10+ and previously lived with dog-savvy cats. Lady is very sweet but very shy and will need a patient adopter who can help her grow her confidence. She would benefit from a quiet home with a fenced yard. Her foster says, Lady is a beautiful, sweet girl. She`s very shy and will take a bit to warm up to people but it is so worth the wait. She is the best, most gentle and loveable girl and should be fine with kids, ages 10+. She is non-destructive,well-behaved and has never had an accident inside. She follows the commands sit, shake and down. In fact, she loves to `hold hands.` Her previous owner said she got along great with her cats, has always lived with other dogs and loves about any vegetables and fruits.`She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on August 14.
