DJ is a 6-year-old Standard Poodle with a heart as big as his fluffy curls. This incredibly sweet and intelligent boy absolutely adores being around his people and thrives on companionship. DJ came to our rescue after his beloved owner passed away, and he’s been adjusting to a lot of change. Because of this, he forms strong bonds with his humans and is looking for a home where he can feel safe, loved, and secure again. Personality: DJ is gentle, affectionate, and wonderful with both people and other dogs. He’s happiest right by your side—whether you’re relaxing at home or heading out for a walk. Training & Skills: Leash trained and enjoys outdoor time Very smart and eager to connect Appears to be housebroken with consistency and has had no accidents since his first night in foster care Ideal Home: DJ would do best with a patient, understanding family who can help him work through some separation anxiety. He’s not a good fit for apartment living, as he may bark when crated.
