Pet Location: Wayside Waifs CampusMy friends at Wayside say: - I am from a puppy mill/hoarding situation. I will likely need extra time to adjust to home life. I have lived with other dogs but have not socialized with people. Things like walking on a leash and going through doorways can be challenging for me. Adopting me will be extremely rewarding, but I need time to learn.-During my time at Wayside, I have enjoyed being around other dogs. -I’m a shy dog and need someone willing to be patient with me.My home needs are:-I must go to a home that already has a social friendly dog in it. Please bring your dog with you when you come out to meet me - I will feel more comfortable with new people if you have your dog with you.-Wayside recommends that I have a fenced-in yard since I am still learning to walk on leash.-For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar. For your convenience, we sell them in our retail store, Whiskers and Wags. -New people and things make me a little nervous. Wayside recommends that I have a low traffic home. -Wayside recommends bringing your children 9 years old and younger out to meet me before adoption since I can be nervous around new people and loud noises.
