Story
Meet Bailey 🐾 Bailey has been part of our family for 10 years and has been there for every stage of life with us. Our kids are now 3 and 5 years old and they absolutely adore her. She is a sweet, loving dog who enjoys being around her people and has always been gentle with our children. This past year Bailey was diagnosed with diabetes and now needs a daily insulin shot. Because of this she is very thirsty and needs to be let outside frequently. Before her diagnosis she never had accidents in the house, but the increased thirst makes it harder for her to hold it if she isn’t let out often. Our vet believes that once her medication is regulated she will do well, but the process requires consistent routines and follow-up testing appointments. With our work schedules and frequent travel, we cannot give her the consistent care she deserves. We are hoping to find Bailey a loving home with someone who has the time to care for her and give her the attention she deserves. 🐾

Story
Moonie has been apart of our family for 6 months now. She is the same litter sister of our other dog, but unfortunately they do not get along. Moonie would thrive in a household with no other pets. She is the star of the show kind of dog. Moonie loves attention from her owner(s), is very cuddly, playful, and smart. She is house trained, views her crate as her safe space, knows sit, shake, and getting pretty good at the come command and place command. She could use some work with leash training and proper socialization, but she is a quick learner with consistency. Moonie has some past trauma from before us, and some behavioral issues with other dogs. Upon request I will of course elaborate. She is shy and timid at first, but with time she opens up into your little best friend. To help Moonie transition into a new home she will have her crate, bed, favorite toys, leash, collar, harness, and bowls.

Meet Tucker, who comes to us from a local shelter. Tucker is a charming 10-month-old, 60 lb., Doodle. He was shut down when we first pulled him from the shelter, but his gentle nature makes him a sweet and endearing companion, who blossoms with tender loving care and positive reinforcement. He will melt into your arms with his signature large paw cradled in your hand. While our volunteers and staff shower him with love and attention, helping him build confidence and trust, Tucker's true potential will shine brightest in a forever home with a compassionate and loving family. Tucker is housetrained, crate trained, neutered, current on his vaccinations, and microchipped. He gets along well with kids, other dogs, and cats. He walks well on a leash, loves belly rubs and shaking your "paw". If you would like to meet this tender-hearted and so sweet boy, please reach out to us for an application.

Story
Meet Watson, who comes to us as an owner surrender. Watson is a 5-year-old, 38 lb., Goldendoodle. He is housetrained, crate-trained, up to date on his vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. Watson was raised in a home where he was unable to grow and learn because he was kept in his crate for the majority of the time. Although the volunteers haven’t experienced any adverse reaction to resource guarding his food/toys while in boarding, he did have these issues in the previous home. Therefore, Watson would be best suited in a home with no young children. He also needs to know he is not the alpha with humans. He is very intelligent, trainable, and eager to please. Through positive training, Watson has the potential to be a wonderful addition to the family who’s willing to invest time, love, and patience in teaching him boundaries and in-home manners. This delightfully entertaining, energetic boy has quickly become a favorite amongst our volunteers. Watson is a complete gentleman when it comes to car rides. He readily jumps into the back seat and calmly enjoys the journey to wherever the destination may be. He walks well on a leash, LOVES his toys (even puts them back in the box when finished playing fetch), is an affectionate snuggle bug, and will make you laugh out loud by taking a flying leap into your lap.
