Story
Meet Ocho! Ocho is a sweet, easygoing boy who loves playing with other dogs and being part of the family. He’s great with kids and does well with dog-savvy cats who are comfortable around dogs. At the end of the day, Ocho settles beautifully in his crate for the night. He’s also not a chewer, which is always a bonus! Ocho is currently working toward a healthier weight with regular walks and a little help watching his diet. He’d love a family who will keep him active and include him in their everyday adventures. If you’re looking for a lovable, friendly companion who gets along with just about everyone, Ocho may be your perfect match!   Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications.   We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match. ##2812434##

Story
Meet Bear, who comes to us from the community. His owner passed away and the family could not take care of him. He came with his sister Bailey. Bear is a 3-year-old, 77 lb., Goldendoodle. He is very sweet and loving. Bear is dog, people, kid, and even cat friendly. Bear is crate trained and appears to be housetrained. He came to us very matted, so we had to shave him down. Bear is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and microchipped. He did test positive for heartworm and has already received his Proheart shot and Doxy procedure (slow kill), which will continue until he tests negative which should be within the next 6-12 months at the latest. If you are interested in meeting Bear, please reach out to us for an application.

Meet Bailey, who comes to us from the community. Her owner passed away and the family could not take care of her. She came with her brother Bear. Bailey is a 3-year-old, 81 lb., Goldendoodle. She is quiet, dog, people, kid, and even cat friendly. Bailey is crate trained and appears to be housetrained. She came to us matted, so we had to shave her down...but in no time her gorgeous apricot curls will grow back. Bailey is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and microchipped. She did test positive for heartworm and has already received her Proheart shot and Doxy procedure (slow kill), which will continue until she tests negative which should be within the next 6-12 months at the latest.
