Story
Rosie came to us in spring 2025 from a family who had to board her too frequently due to traveling, Her birthday is May 4, 2022. She is incredibly sweet, house-trained, and loves peanut butter and water! However, she does chew anything she can find when left unsupervised, especially kids toys or any food left on counters. We have two small kids, so this can be challenging to always clean up. We do not crate her because she broke out of two wire crates when we first got her. When the floors are picked up, she does well with free roam in the house. I think she may have some anxiety, due to the chewing, crate escapes, etc. Rosie also has allergies that cause frequent paw licking/biting and recurring ear inflammation. We’ve treated her with oral medication and most recently an allergy shot. She does not “give kisses” She knows the commands “sit” “paw” and comes when her name is called. She needs to be groomed every 6-8 weeks and frequently brushed in between.

Story
We believe that she would do best in a home without small children, and where she can receive a lot of attention. She is very loving, but not aware of her large size. She loves to play outside, go on walks, and snuggle. She is house trained, but not crate trained. We are looking for her to go to a good home.
