Bean is incredibly smart and eager to learn, thanks to her mix of Poodle and Belgian Malinois traits. She thrives with structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement. Because of her intelligence, she picks things up quickly—but she’ll also need ongoing training to make sure she grows into a well-mannered companion. Her Malinois side means Bean will grow into a high-energy dog who requires daily physical exercise and mental stimulation. She’s not the type of dog who will be content with a short walk around the block—she’ll do best with an active family who can provide structured activities, enrichment, and continued training. Experience with working or high-drive breeds (or a willingness to work with a professional trainer) will set her up for success. Bean has the potential to live with cats when introduced properly. With slow, supervised introductions and consistent guidance, she can learn to coexist peacefully in a multi-pet home.
