Story
Bougee is a very loving dog. She loves attention. She's a little shy with men at first but warms up quickly. She needs a big yard to get her zoomies out. She loves treats and loves her hair brushed. She follows you around and will be stuck to you. I rescued her from a bad situation. She hadn't ever been groomed and hadn't had any shots since she was 6 months old. I think the man might have been mean to her and that is why she takes a while to warm up to men. I had planned on keeping her when I got her but I hate leaving her in the crate when we are gone for long periods of time. She does well in the crate, no accidents, no anxiety. She is house trained and crate trained and is great with kids and other dogs. She would do great with a family that includes her in everything and that is home with her. I haven't left her out by herself, she would do great with a doggie door but does well if you take her out to potty. She is a year old. Has lots of love to give.

Story
I have a wonderful Goldendoodle who is full of love and smarts. I got him as a puppy. Bentley will be 3 years old July 12,2026. I am looking for a new home where he’ll have plenty of space to run and someone who can give him lots of attention and care. Bentley is friendly, playful, and loyal. He’d be perfect for a family or someone who loves having an active companion.

Story
Meet Fritz! Fritz (in the blue collar in the joint pictures) is a lovable Goldendoodle with a big heart, a playful spirit, and an endless supply of affection. He’s spent his whole life with his brother Max, and while they adore each other, they’ve also learned a bit too much mischief together. After lots of thought, it’s been decided that separating the boys will give each of them the chance to truly thrive as individuals. Fritz is high-energy, curious, and playful — always ready for fun, exploration, or a good romp. On the flip side, he is especially snuggly and affectionate, happiest when he’s curled up with his people soaking up attention. He’s a true lovebug at heart. He’s not fully housebroken yet, but this is expected to improve quickly once he’s on his own and not “untraining” alongside his brother. Fritz is a bit of a goofy guy — he would rather play, but is eager to please and absolutely trainable with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. Fritz would do best in an active home that can give him structure, exercise, continued training, and plenty of cuddles. With the right guidance, he’s going to be an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, affectionate dog who will keep you laughing and loving every day, Fritz might be your perfect match.   ##2628454##

Teddy was seen in a neighborhood for at least a month darting and running around but no one could catch him!  Finally a lady got him, fed him and let him stay in her backyard over night till we could grab him. He is a happy little guy and doing quite well even though he was displaced for so long. He is not chipped and no one has come looking for him. He weighs about 12-15 lbs and is extremely cute!  He is good with other dogs and loves attention! ##2629025##

Story
First home was not up to par with his needs, leaving him with certain behavioral issues. When he moved in with us, we attempted to provide for him what his previous home could not. While we have tried to care for him as best as we could, we cannot keep him due to a family member’s heath issues. He enjoys walks, playing with many different toys, and he can be territorial at times. It is best to leave him be when he is eating. It is also best to allow him to play with you rather than trying to play with him, he likes to interact with others on his own terms. Invading his space while trying to play might lead him to be aggressive.

Story
TAYLOR FOREVER ERA: - Taylor would love to spend her days as your favorite work-from-home coworker, but can definitely manage a few hours of alone time while you earn the bacon. If you're around, she promises to remind you to take breaks throughout the day for a little sunshine and yard-play. - Taylor wants humans she can count on to take charge and ensure she is safe. She looks forward to relaxing into her home and enjoying the good life. - She has a moderate energy level but will sleep a few hours at a time. - Must love snuggles! For Taylor, this one is a nonnegotiable. Personality: - She will either sit by your feet in the home office or run alongside you begging for you to throw the ball—Taylor is happy just to be with you! She shifts easily between playing and snuggling. - She may need a couple of weeks to warm up but will become an active member of your family very quickly. - Fetch is her love language—balls, Kongs…just throw something! - She loves to cuddle on the couch or on the bed (but will also sleep on her own bed by your side) Is Taylor Perfect for You? Taylor’s adoption fee is $750. She is HW-negative, current on vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, spayed, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Taylor a second chance. Story
Meet Noodle!   He is a tall, slim, handsome guy who is ready for his forever home. He was out looking for help (or a new home) one day when he came across a couple who helped him find his owners. When the owners were not found, his helpers got him into rescue.  While TSBR generally does not have DNA results for dogs in the program, Noodles’ friends wanted to know what makes up this handsome boy.  72 % Poodle (Medium and Standard) 24 % Golden Retriever 3 % Poodle (Toy and Miniature) 1 % American Cocker Spaniel What a great testament to his fantastic personality! This playful, loving boy is fully vetted and ready to find his new home. Noodle loves all the people he meets. He knows sit, shake, down, and place, and is making good progress on leash training and can heel. He is house-trained and uses a dog door. Noodle sleeps quietly in either his kennel or on a dog bed by his foster’s bed. He does not get up on the furniture or ask to do so, but could probably be convinced if you would like this! Noodle is loved at the vet and great at the groomers. He loves car rides and will lie quietly on a pillow in the back seat.  Noodle does not jump on people or counter surf. He also is not a barker.  He is a trusted member of his foster family and has full range of the house when his fosters are away.     This energetic boy loves to play with other dogs.  He is considerate of older and smaller dogs as well.  He does play energetically with dogs his own age and size… his foster sister taught him that.  Recently, Noodle has shown interest in stuffed toys and a large ball he loves to chase and carry. Falling for Noodle…ask to meet him~ retrieveafriend.org/adoptVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 9:46 pm
