Story
Stanley is in search of a new home simply due to needing a doggie play friend, because my cat does not fit the bill. He's wicked smart, and picks up things very quickly. I can leave him out of the crate when I leave for some hours, but a full day at work I have him in the crate just due to having a cat I cannot keep him from trying to play with. The dog park is one of his favs because he likes to run around with the other pups once giving a good sniff inspection. He came from a home that was giving him up due to new children but it may really be because Stan likes to be a shadow, it's their breed, so a remote worker, retiree, someone that has a need to have their buddy with them would be perfect. He's truly a solid dog - just not a good fit for my house and I just wanted to host him while I found the home for him. You can free feed him, as he's a grazer, but he would also eat the cat food if given the choice. haha He just wants to be with you or his dog friends for playtime.

Story
We got Koko as a puppy. She is 5 years old. She loves attention, cuddles, walks and runs. She has grown up on a small acreage, which isn’t a necessity, but she will need good exercise a couple times a day. She will sit, shake a paw, lay down. She loves people and will take any love and attention she can get. We need to rehome her because we are relocating and our new home and jobs do not have what she needs and we want to give her the best life she can have. She has grown up around 4 young kids and has been great with them. We also have a barn cat and had horses and cows that she is friends with, so she potentially could be good with cats if introduced as a friend and monitored in the beginning. She loves playing fetch and will retrieve and bring the ball back well and ready for another run. We are going to miss her so much, but we really feel like this is the best decision for Koko and are hoping to find a loving family to take her in.

Meet Nina!   Every new experience is a first for Nina, and she's looking for someone who will enjoy helping her discover just how wonderful life can be.   Nina is a 4-year-old Aussiedoodle who recently joined our rescue as a breeder release. After spending her life having very little exposure to the world, she's starting over from the very beginning. New sights, sounds, routines, and experiences are all part of her journey, and she's taking it one step at a time.   She is an incredibly sweet girl who gets along beautifully with other animals and rides wonderfully in the car. While she's still learning how to be a beloved family dog, she has all the ingredients to become an amazing companion with a little patience, kindness, and consistency.   Nina is looking for a home that understands breeder release dogs and will give her the time she needs to build confidence at her own pace. She came to us as part of a large breeder-release group, so everything about home life is brand new to her. Soft beds, kind hands, toys, and quiet routines are all things she is experiencing for the very first time. Kaily is a truly gentle, sweet soul. She is crate trained and often chooses to nap in her crate even when the door is left open, as it gives her a sense of comfort and security. Pookie is a Portidoodle which is a mix of a Portuguese Water Dog and Standard Poodle. She was born 24 Oct 2025 (8 months old) to a family locally here in Denton. She is potty trained and house trained but still has some puppy left in her she’s currently growing out of. She is up to date on all shots, vaccines, and Heart Worm. We have paperwork for all her records. Our family is growing and we unfortunately just don’t have the time or ability to give her the proper care she deserves.

Chaska is 5 years old and is also very friendly, although he is more reserved when meeting new people. I adopted him during the COVID period, and because he spent so much time at home with only our family and his brother, he can be cautious at first. Once he becomes comfortable, he is affectionate and loyal. He loves swimming, being around water, and spending time in the pool. He acts like a supervisor, always checking on everyone in the house and making sure he knows where everyone is before settling down to rest.
