Story
Odie was surrendered to rescue due to owners failing health. He is a sweet boy that has been completely vetted and microchipped. He does love to run and play with the other dogs. He takes correction easily if he gets too rough. He is very tall and lanky. .He was very underweight when he came in and also had to be shaved due to matting. He is still eating puppy food with chicken breast to help gain weight. We were told he loves to chase the chickens and cats but never harmed them. Transportation to an area near you is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. You can copy this link for the adoption application, but please email also as we do not check it daily. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfJPy8HZacOfGsSHQ_Lnz3iGbc7LXBv5r-fBjdySJHZwvWtVA/viewform?usp=header

Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $0 WAIVED if picked up in TN, $100 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Samson is a 1.5-year-old Husky, Australian Shepherd, and Poodle mix weighing about 40 pounds. He has a medium-high energy level and is full of playful curiosity. Samson is a happy, bouncy pup who loves attention and belly rubs. One of his cutest quirks is emptying the toy box; he’ll take out every single toy and play with them all in turn. Samson is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and rides calmly in the car. He is also crate-trained and does well when it’s time to sleep, but doesn't like to be home alone in the crate. He will let his husky voice be heard if he feels he’s missing out on the action. He enjoys walks, fetch, and playing with other dogs, but would be fine being the center of attention. We think he would be best in a home with no cats, or very dog-savvy cats since he tends to pester them in play and gives chase if they run. Samson is looking for a family who will continue his regular grooming routine. Samson knows a couple tricks like Shake and Speak and will happily demonstrate them for a treat. Samson is ready for a home that can give him both guidance and love, along with plenty of playtime and companionship. With the right family, he will grow into a loyal, fun-loving partner who fills the home with energy, joy, and all the toys scattered from his favorite game of emptying the toy box. Meet this dog at Petco on Saturday, July 11th from 1-4 pm CST at Petco, 377 W. Jackson St #11 Cookeville, TN 38501.  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. July 10, 2026, 7:38 pm
