Sammy is a 3-year-old, 45-pound Goldendoodle who has been a much-loved member of our family. Making the decision to rehome him has been heartbreaking, but with our changing circumstances, we believe he deserves a home that is a better fit for his needs.Sammy is affectionate, loyal, intelligent, and loves spending time with other dogs and the people he knows and trusts. He enjoys walks, relaxing at home, and he loves car rides! Sammy is a fearful and reactive dog. He is uncomfortable around strangers, especially people coming into the home, such as contractors or workmen. He also becomes very anxious in unfamiliar situations. He does best with a predictable routine, slow introductions to new people, and owners who understand that his behavior is fear-based.We are looking for a patient, experienced adopter who can provide Sammy with a calm, stable home and continue helping him build confidence. We love him very much and want to find the right forever home. Rehoming fee will be donated.

Brady has been with our family since he was 11 weeks old, and we are devastated to be considering rehoming him. He was born on September 11, 2022, in Milton, Florida. Since our move to Quantico, Brady has struggled to adjust. Military orders required us to accept housing without a yard. Although he gets frequent walks and plenty of love, he simply hasn't been the same without a yard of his own. He seems genuinely depressed, and after months of hoping he'd adjust, we don't believe this lifestyle is right for him. Brady is fully housetrained, exceptionally smart, and loves our children. He would do best with older children (he has never been around babies) and preferably as the only dog. He has done well with our older Labrador but can be anxious around unfamiliar dogs. This decision comes entirely from love. We just want Brady to have a home where he can be happy again.

He is VERY friendly with other dogs and good with older children (5yr and up). He loves attention and he's very affectionate.He loves going on walks and cannot wait to go outside every time. He would benefit from a home that can give him plenty of exercise or play time. Unfortunately, with our new commute times and small family, we don't have enough time to consistently give him the exercise he needs.He will come with a training collar, multiple beds, feeding system, treats, basket of toys, and leashes. You shouldn't need too much other than food to get started!

Simba came to us as a surrender from the Howard County Animal Shelter.During his time in foster care, Simba has visited vet offices, wineries, parks, and farmers' markets. He is known for his soft eyes and gentle nature, getting along well with other dogs and enjoying car rides. While he dislikes being crated and occasionally barks at other dogs on walks, he is learning to stay quiet.While other dogs might be active and barking, Simba is often found peacefully napping in the grass. He enjoys playing with balls or squeaky toys and would do well with a compatible canine companion. Simba will thrive in a structured, loving, and patient home. He is eager to please and simply needs a dedicated owner to help him learn the rules.
