Story
We’re looking to find our 5 year old mini golden doodle, Archie, a loving home. Archie is healthy, low maintenance and well trained. He’s easy to please. He loves walks where he can walk side by side with you. He loves chasing squirrels though he’s never successfully caught one and he loves a good head rub. We’re heartbroken to be rehoming Archie, but he’s unfortunately not adjusting to having babies in the house. He’s incredibly obedient, but does get aggressive around food. He’s not a reactive dog and would do well with a baby-less household. We have babies in the house walking around with snacks all the time it’s really challenging to always have an eye on that to make sure nothing happens. We’d love to find Archie a home without babies where he can get the love and attention he deserves. We want more for him than we can give right now. He’s a good boy who will make a family really happy just like he’s made ours.

Story
Sadie is a lovely dog! She has been great to have, she loves fetch and rolling around in the mud with the kids. Unfortunately weve had allergic reactions from a new family member and also cannot give her the time/attention she needs. Shes very friendly, she doesn’t seem to like kids under 4 she stays away from them but does fine with older kids, I’m not sure what thats about. Shes very loyal and she loves her humans. She hasn’t had an accident in several months and she sleeps in her crate at night with no issues. Shes very energetic and playful. She can do sit and stay and lay down but not much else. She comes when called and she stays close to her people. Her mom is pure bread poodle and her dad is pure bread golden retriever. Sadie is 1.5 years old. Comes with crate, bag of extra food (unopened), toys, leashes, harnesses, tennis balls.

Story
Goldendoodle Female Red 18 months old 41 lbs RILEY - your sweet, affectionate best friend She’s incredibly sweet and wants nothing more than to please her humans. A mix of affectionate and timid, she’s learning to trust again. She can be easily startled by sudden movements or barking dogs, but her playful, goofy personality is shining through more each day. She’s met many new people and, with a little patience, warms up beautifully. She’s gentle and happily shares toys with our dog. She’s still working on house training and will need a patient family to continue her progress. She’s successfully crated during the day (with the help of anxiety medication) and sleeps quietly in our bedroom at night without accidents. She’s stolen our hearts and deserves a family who will love her for the sweet, sensitive soul she is. She’d do best in a home with someone around most of the time and/or with another dog. She’s easygoing, good on leash, and can adapt to an active or relaxed lifestyle. She’s a truly special pup ready for her forever home. Please Note: Must have another dog at home! *Must have a FENCED-IN yard!* **No children under 12!** If you are interested in adopting RILEY please go to our website www.somersetcottagepoodlerescue.org to see our adoption process and download the adoption application or click below on ADOPT ME! Story
Wednesday, named after Wednesday from The Adam’s Family, is a very loving and affectionate seven month old Goldendoodle. If you are looking for a best friend she is it! She is affectionate and very friendly with kids and other friendly dogs. She is an active/energetic puppy but also just loves to be out laying on the lawn. She has never met a chew toy she didn’t love! Wednesday is up to date with shots and is not quite old enough to be spayed per her vet. Wednesday knows basic commands like “sit” and “stay” and is both crate and house trained. She tends to be weary of new things at first but so far the only things that really frighten her are the outdoor trash cans and car rides, which she is getting much better with. Wednesday is being rehomed as her home dynamics have recently changed and we want Wednesday to get the love and attention she deserves.

Story
Boots is one of the most lovable dogs to be around. Always giving kisses and bugging you, or napping on the couch! We re-homed her at a year old, and now she just turned 6 in February. She has always been amazing for us, as well as with our other dog, who is now 3 and much smaller in size. Our daughter just turned 16 months old, and Boots isn’t too fond of her as of late. She’s never bit her, but sometimes doesn’t like the fact that she’s around her. My wife is also due again on May 31st, which makes it harder. Any other time that she has been around kids, she’s been perfect. My nieces come around often and Boots loves them. Boots had anxiety when we first got her, but since has overcame that. Lately we switched her to a prescription food due to the fact the Vet said she needed it for allergies. Never was tested so it’s hard to say if she truly needs it or not! I would love for her to just have a loving and caring home and/or family. Boots deserves the World!

Story
Goldendoodle Male Cream 10 years old 82 lbs Meet Cooper: The Dapper Doodle with a Heart of Gold Cooper is a 10-year-old light apricot Goldendoodle with soulful eyes, a calm nature, and just the right amount of goofy charm. He’s low-shedding, crate-free, and knows basic commands like sit, lay down, and touch especially if treats are involved. This ball-loving boy is a fetch enthusiast and adores evening chew time. He walks nicely on a leash (with occasional struts of confidence) and gets along well with other dogs, though he’s content to do his own thing. Cooper loves water—creeks, lakes, puddles, you name it—and sleeps peacefully through the night near his people. He’s alert but not reactive, affectionate but not clingy. A true Velcro dog at heart, he thrives on companionship and will follow you loyally wherever you go. If you're looking for a sweet, smart, and slightly philosophical doodle to be your best friend, Cooper is ready to steal your heart. Please Note: *Must have a FENCED-IN yard!* **No children under 10!** NO CATS! If you are interested in adopting COOPER please go to our website www.somersetcottagepoodlerescue.org to see our adoption process and download the adoption application COOPER's adoption donation is $595
