Story
Meet Princess M, a one-and-a-half-year-old Standard Poodle mix weighing around 45 pounds. Princess M has been through quite the transformation since arriving in our care. She came to us extremely matted, and we ended up shaving nearly four pounds of fur from her body. It is hard to put into words how much better she feels now that she can see, move freely, and isn`t carrying around painful, tangled mats. She is truly a different dog now — happy, wiggly, and so excited to experience life! Everything seems new and exciting to Princess M, and she loves being around people. She is very human-oriented, eager to learn, and wants to please her people. When she arrived, Princess M was also dealing with a yeast infection, urine scalding, and cheat grass embedded throughout her paws. Her yeast infection has been treated, and she is finally getting the chance to heal and enjoy being comfortable. Now that Princess M can finally see the world around her, she is ready to discover everything she has been missing. She is looking for a loving home that will continue to show her how wonderful life can be and give her the patience, guidance, and care she deserves.Princess M may have had a rough start, but her happy, wiggly personality is shining through. She is ready for a fresh start and a family who will love her for the sweet girl she is.This pet is available for adoption on 9/27/2026 3:12 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
