Story
Carly is a sweet loving 7 month old 35 pound golden doodle ready to be adopted by a family that can provide her love and security. Her first six months were not good. Her foster mom helped her go from being malnourished to nourished. Carly is very playful and loves being with people and other dogs. She is good with cats. She will require a fenced back yard and basic enrollment in obedience class. She will need to be spayed at 8 to 10 months old. She is not potty trained and needs work being on a leash. She gets scared being separated and cannot be crated. If you can provide a safe secure playful and loving home, Carly is for you. If you are interested in Carly, please fill out a statement of interest on our website. ##1729749##

Story
Hello, my name is Bernie (Doodle) or at least that is what my foster mom calls me.  I am a 7-month old Goldendoodle.  My foster mom says I'm good to go.  I have all my puppy shots and I am neutered! (not liking that part very much, especially the cone I have to wear).  I love my foster family and the helpers who come out to see me. I did great in puppy social and learned how to play with others that are my age. I did not have the best life before coming into the foster home, so my foster mom says I'm a little behind on learning and things.  I am almost potty trained, and I am learning to sit.  I do get spooked a little with new people and I've only walked on a leash twice.  I guess what I'm saying is that I will need some training please.  My foster mom says whoever adopts me should be registered in a basic obedience class upon adopting me.  I also would like a fenced yard to keep me safe.  One of my favorite things to do at my foster home is sleep on your bed.  I really don't like to be kenneled and I will let you know loudly that I don't like it, but I will calm down and face the facts that I need to be in a kennel at night to sleep, at least until I'm fully potty trained. Little kids spook me and I'm not sure about them.  I do love to play with other dogs, and I even do well with the cats.  My foster mom has to remind me that it's not good to play rough with them or stalk them then jump on them but once corrected I leave them alone.    I am really looking forward to meeting my family forever so please fill out a statement of interest. www.alternativehumansociety.com ##1729748##

Story
Martin (or "Marty") is a very loving, affectionate dog. One parent was poodle and the other goldendoodle. Martin spent 2 years with one previous owner and has been with his current family for 2 years. He was loved by his first owner but home alone for several hours and got little exercise. He was well trained and responds quickly to many commands, especially with treat incentives. He is great with kids and would love another dog at home. Martin loves to be outside, play and wrestle with other dogs, and chase after balls and sticks. He loves hiking, running and adores the beach. He is a mediocre swimmer but has a blast splashing in water. Martin needs a home that can manage his anxiety. Vet appointments are fine but past grooming trauma means he needs a gentle/patient professional and to be medicated for grooming appointments. He does OK with home grooming. Being a doodle, Martin gets ear allergies and his curly hair requires someone who understands the maintenance requirements.

Story
Gev has been with us since he was 8weeks old when we got him from a Goldendoodle breeder out of San Diego CA in 2019. He is a Toy Goldendoodle and weighs about 14lbs. Usually he has a curly rust brown coat but we had just given a summer haircut recently. He is protective big hearted and very affectionate. He gets along well with kids and other dogs. Sometimes we think that he thinks of himself as a big dog. Gev loves chest and neck rubs and all the attention you can give him. We feed him baked kibbles or hills science diet. He loves chicken and we give him leftovers from time to time. He is up to date with his vaccinations.

Story
Looking for an older bonded pair with blonde curly hair and a sweet personality? Well, look no further than Cami and Gus Golden! These sweethearts are 8 and 10 years old respectively! Cami weights around 68 lbs while Gus is a bit smaller at 54 lbs. These two Golden Doodles, simply put, are pure love and affection. The duo currently lives with and has grown up with 12 year old twin girls so they love children and would do fine in a home with or without kids. Cami and Gus would also do well in a home with a calm dog or as the only dogs. They both passed their cat test with flying colors. They is disinterested in cats and could truly this care less about them! Gus loves shoes so make sure you put them in a safe place! Cami and Gus are both so calm and gentle and would make great condo or apartment dwellers since they rarely bark. They would also do well in a home with an older single person or couple as they are easy to handle and calm. They would enjoy lounging and relaxing most of their day with an occasional short stroll for some fresh PNW air! They are fine on a leash! This pair is completely crate and house trained. If you’ve been wanting to open up your home to an older bonded pair and give them the best life possible please consider applying to adopt Cami and Gus! The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Bella is a very sweet dog. She does not get along with our other female dog, which is why we are looking to rehome. She loves our male dog though. She is great with our kids. She is very energetic and goofy and incredibly affectionate. She may be best in a single dog home or with male dogs only. We are very sad to be giving her up, but we have tried everything.
