Story
Maggie is the best! She is a beautiful, well-mannered young lady. She likes "her" person, usually a female. Maggie is slow to warm up to people, but when she does she loves to play with toys, go for walks, and is hilarious when she does her zoomies in the backyard. I would suggest a good-size yard for this sweet girl. She likes to run around the backyard and throw her toys up in the air to play with. She also does well on walks but will get scared and shy of other people and dogs. The same is true regarding kids, Maggie is very well-mannered, but she gets scared easily by kids running around. She needs her space. A quiet home with older children would be best for this gal to feel safe and comfortable. Maggie had a rough start in life but is now thriving and showing her sweet, funny personality. She will make a great addition to a loving household. Now with that said, she likes to be around people and if there are a lot of people around she wants to be in the room getting love from adults, especially female adults.

Story
I got her to keep my other dane company, and she's been amazing. She has had puppies, but she is spayed now. She doesn't like dogs on the first introduction but if you slowly introduce her to the new dog she's amazing! She's not a huge cuddler but if you're upset or just not feeling great, she won't leave you alone. She knows basic commands, and listens great!

Story
Meet Boone – A Gentle Soul Ready for a Fresh Start Boone is a striking Great Dane and Black Mouth Cur mix at 65 pounds with soulful eyes and a quiet, thoughtful demeanor. Rescued after being abandoned on the roadside, Boone's past suggests he was used as a hunting dog and likely spent much of his life confined to a kennel. This history has left him shy and cautious at first, but with time, patience, and kindness, Boone reveals his deeply affectionate side. Once he begins to trust, Boone becomes a devoted companion who craves gentle affection and enjoys peaceful moments with his person. He thrives in a calm environment and takes comfort in the presence of other dogs—he gets along wonderfully with canine companions and would benefit from a home with another friendly dog to help boost his confidence. Currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, Boone is looking for a foster or forever home in Central Texas only. He needs a loving, understanding family who can help him continue to blossom at his own pace. His ideal adopter would be someone familiar with hounds or someone who appreciates the gentle, loyal nature of these incredible breeds. If you're a hound enthusiast or simply someone with a kind heart and a quiet home, Boone may be the perfect match for you. He’s not just looking for a home—he’s looking for someone who sees his potential and will offer the love and patience he’s never known before. Boone is ready to start again. Story
Breaker is up for adoption in TX, NE and PNW (excluding MA)! Breaker is a 1-year-old, 65-pound Great Dane/Boxer mix with a heart as big as his goofy grin. This splash-happy pup LOVES the water—whether he’s chasing toys into the pool, splashing through a creek, or just romping around the yard, Breaker is always up for adventure. With the playful energy of a Boxer and the gentle, loyal nature of a Dane, he’s the best of both worlds—equal parts fun and affection. Breaker is dog-friendly (with pups his size), loves people, and is happiest when he’s part of the action. He’s making great progress with crate training and is learning his puppy manners, especially when treats are involved. Breaker wasn't given much structure as a pup so, Breaker sometimes tries to play bite to get his way. Even after a board-and-train program, he will need a family committed to consistent, positive reinforcement training to help him reach his full potential. Breaker would thrive in an active home with space to play and maybe even a doggy sibling to share his adventures with. If you’re looking for a loyal, silly, water-loving companion who will keep you laughing and fill your days with joy, Breaker is your guy! To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
