Because of the past, she is unsure of strangers. But once she knows she can trust you, she is a wonderful girl. She would need a home without kids. She does ok with some dogs but not sure about cats. She is crate trained and is doing very well with learning manners.Please help us make room to save more homeless pets!!! Adopting from Hope Rescues saves the life of two.. the one you adopt and the one your adoption makes room for. We are a Rescue which means we physically go and save lives. Meet Misty! She's a smart lady who is smart as a whip! She's crate trained, mastered many commands (sit, down, off, mat, enough, go to your room, here, all done- more than most kids :). She loves to run, play fetch and be wherever you are! She's a year and a half old, and was lucky enough to have professional training donated to help her find her forever home. Whoever adopts her will receive at least one free hand off session from her trainer to help her transition go perfectly! Her ideal family would be somewhat active (she needs to run around a yard at least a few times per day). She gets along well with other dogs, but calmer dogs are best. Misty loves to play, but she can get very excited if the other dog is too energetic! She would do well with older children. Younger children and cats would require a lot of supervision. Her trainer thinks she would be a great agility dog, but she is smart enough to do anything you want to train her to do! She will require some active parenting to teach her the rules of your house, because she is so smart, she may try to make her own activities if nothing fun is provided! She's potty trained now (we had some overnight accidents until she started going in her crate at night). She's a great dog with a good head on her shoulders, and she wants to know if you are the one for her! $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.

Meet Mr. Big – The Couch Connoisseur of Kindness Mr. Big is a 5-year-old Great Dane with a heart (and personality) as large as his name suggests. This gentle giant has an easygoing, friendly demeanor that makes him a joy to be around. He’s crate-trained but would much rather keep your couch warm while you’re away—he swears it’s for your benefit. Mr. Big gets along well with people and other dogs, and he’s working on his leash manners (he’s a strong boy who sometimes forgets just how big he is). He tends to form a special bond with a female human, so he’ll likely pick his favorite lady and stay loyally by her side. We’re not sure yet how he feels about kids, but he’s certainly full of love to share. If you’ve got space in your home (and on your couch) for a big, lovable buddy, Mr. Big might just be your guy. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. He is being fostered in the St Louis area and his adoption fee is $200.
