Rowan is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Amazing with dogs, like to use cats as chew toys, does better with no kids. He is a huge cuddle bug and thinks he’s a teeny lap dog. He gets very anxious around kids. If you are interested in Rowan, please text : (812) 318-0355. ***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner directly***

Story
NALA is a 3 year old female great dane mix. She was surrendered to the shelter when her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. Nala currently weighs 90 lbs. She is currently with a great foster so we're getting to know her much better. Here's what we know. She loves people and other dogs. For her size, she's quite gentle and has become the best friend of a 3 year old. Some days, she likes her crate, some days she doesn't. (although she doesn't do anything destructive when she out). She loves to sleep on the couch, and she is house trained. Here is her quirk. Once she goes outside, she doesn't want to come in. And due to her size, she's hard to move if she doesn't want to do. At this point, walking her on a leash is a challenge. Her perfect family will be one that has time to continue to work with her. She will need a good, fenced yard. She is still learning new things and the routines of her foster home and she's making good progress. She has all the signs of a dog that wasn't socialize properly as a youngster. We do know her previous owner had been ill for a while, so Nala was probably to her own devices. In person, her brindle coat with white accents, is just gorgeous! If interested in adopting, our process begins with submission of our application. Please visit our website at www.adoptmebluegrasspetrescue.com and click on Nala's picture in "Adoptable Dogs". Additional adoption FAQ's can be found here also. Meets will be set with approved applicants based on our "best family fit" approach. Thank you!

Story
Quinn is super sweet but very skittish. He needs time to learn to trust. He is NOT good with small animals or kids. He may do ok with a larger non dominant dog but that will just depend on how he feels about them. He is housebroke, crate trained, and answers to his name. He will need a lot of on going socialization. Along with his socialization needs, Quinn has some undiagnosed health issues. It is thought to be a form of myopathy at this time. Unfortunately, there isn't a one and done test that will give a true diagnosis. He will need to stay on a specific food, and most likely will require life long daily medications.  If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. They currently are fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, preventatives and are microchipped (with lifetime registration). Adoption fee is $200 with approved application, applications can be filled out at this link. https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/10167/generic .We cannot guarantee breed or size when full grown. ##1604201##
