Say hello to Humphreys!This 3-year-old, 96.9-pound Great Dane mix is the definition of a gentle giant. Humphreys is a sweet, sensitive soul who’s still adjusting to the busy shelter environment—it can be a little overwhelming for a big guy like him. He may be a bit jumpy at times, but his curiosity and desire to be near his people always shine through.Once he`s out in the yard, Humphreys relaxes and shows off his calm, easygoing nature. He enjoys quietly exploring and being part of whatever his humans are up to. We’re not sure how he feels about other dogs just yet, so a meet and greet with any current canine companions is always recommended.If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with a big heart and even bigger paws, Humphreys might just be your perfect match.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. Story
Quinn is super sweet but very skittish. He needs time to learn to trust. He is NOT good with small animals or kids. He may do ok with a larger non dominant dog but that will just depend on how he feels about them. He is housebroke, crate trained, and answers to his name. He will need a lot of on going socialization. Along with his socialization needs, Quinn has some undiagnosed health issues. It is thought to be a form of myopathy at this time. Unfortunately, there isn't a one and done test that will give a true diagnosis. He will need to stay on a specific food, and most likely will require life long daily medications.  If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. They currently are fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, preventatives and are microchipped (with lifetime registration).
