Story
Meet Sienna!! 🌼🐾 If you’ve been looking for a dog who brings the party everywhere she goes, congratulations—you just found her. Sienna came in as a stray on 4/3/26, and we think she’s around 2 years old. She is absolutely gorgeous, but don’t let the looks fool you—this girl is PACKED with energy, personality, and just enough chaos to keep life interesting (in the best way 😄). She’s sweet, friendly, and ready to be your new best friend. Her favorite hobby? BALL. Throw it once and you’ve just signed up for a full-time job. She will happily keep you entertained for hours and then politely request overtime. Sienna will need a little leash training—right now she walks like she’s late for something important—but she’s smart and eager, so she’s going to catch on fast with a little consistency. If you want a fun, active dog who will keep you laughing, moving, and never bored… Sienna is your girl. ✨ Available for adoption—hurry in to meet her! 📍 Sienna is located at the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield, OH 📞 419-774-5892 📋 Adoption is an application process. You can request one via dogs@richlandcountyoh.gov

Story
Ernie is a 3 year old male Great Dane. He is very smart and a lot of work. I am a sahm and college student and I just don't have the time or energy. We've had him since he was 8 weeks old. I just want him to go to someone that has the time and patience he needs. He can't be left out when you leave or he will destroy things. He will climb out windows if they are open though. There are big reasons we just can't keep him anymore. Need to rehome him ASAP. Please reach out if you are interested 419-606-5813

Story
Please contact Jamie (jamie@pawsandprayers.org) for more information about this pet.  Meet Puppy Lillie, this beautiful 5-month-old girl weighs around 41 lbs. already. We believe she is a Great Dane/Mastiff/Shepherd mix and expect her to be a large dog when fully grown. Like most puppies her age, she's playful, energetic, and still learning her manners. She can be a little jumpy and mouthy when excited, so she would do best in a home without young children. She may be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, her sweet and affectionate personality quickly shines through. Her journey hasn't been the easiest. When her owner became incarcerated, she was passed between several homes before finally finding her way to rescue. Now she's looking for the stability, love, and forever family she deserves. She hasn't met cats yet but with a proper introduction and a dog-savvy cat we think she will do fine. Lillie would thrive with a family committed to helping her with her training and grow into the wonderful companion she's meant to be. Lillie is currently staying at our shelter so we cannot say whether or not she’s housebroken, her new family should be prepared to take on house training. Lillie’s adoption fee is $400.00 Please complete a non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org All Paws and Prayers animals are up to date on vaccinations (age appropriate) and are given monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee also includes spay / neuter and microchipping. Please read the entire bio before emailing the foster with questions. Meet and greets are not arranged unless an adoption application is filled out and approved and are by appointment only.  Inquiries submitted through Petfinder or other third-party websites do not submit as applications in our database. Story
I acquired Rocky from a family member who passed away. He is an extremely friendly, loving, gentle and easygoing Great Dane. 9 Years old with no mobility issues and in good health with a great demeanor. Has never had any problems whatsoever with other cats and dogs and has lived in a household with both. Loves to be pet and loves treats. Can lay with you all day or have his own space and time. Loves to be outside and sunbathe. I recently got a new job that doesn’t allow me to be with him as often as he deserves, and hope that he can find a loving home that matches his fantastic personality. I have brushes, face wipes, food and food bowls along with other supplies included. Please consider giving Rocky a chance to warm up and being extra love into your home!

Story
Siblings Daisy and Maverick are looking for a foster home (or a family) that can devote time to showing them how to navigate life. They perceive the world as a scary place with lots of obstacles and learning curves. They are afraid to step outside of the comfort and ‘protection’ of their house. They are bonded and find solace in each other’s company. It takes both a hot minute to get comfortable with new faces. After that, they are the sweetest and most affectionate and loyal companions. While they are unsure about new people, they are both amazing with dogs.
