Coming from a rough past, Tucker can be sensitive when meeting new people and navigating new situations. He thrives with patience, understanding, and slow introductions that help him feel safe.Because of his sensitivity and size, we’re recommending that any children in his forever home be around 13–16 years or older and able to respect Tucker’s boundaries. He’s a big boy who just needs space and reassurance while he builds trust.Once Tucker warms up, his playful and goofy personality shines through. He loves to let loose, show off his silly side, and enjoy time with his trusted people. Watching him grow more confident and comfortable is incredibly rewarding — he truly blossoms in the right environment.Tucker has shown potential to live with another dog, but it would need to be the right match along with a slow, thoughtful introduction to ensure success. At this time, we are not sure how Tucker would do with cats.Tucker is looking for a patient, loving home that will give him the time he deserves.
