Eli is a very loving dog that loves laying on the couch and watching tv! He likes sleeping in the bed with you but tends to be a bed hog! He loves playing but does get on the rougher side of playing at times. He is house trained and knows a couple of basic commands. He will be 5 years old the day after Christmas. He thinks he is a lap dog and has no concept of how big he actually is. Here recently him and his brother have not been getting along so I have to keep them separated at all times. Both of them cannot be out and about in the house at the same time. I do not have the yard for him to be able to run and play like he should and now it's winter so I cant let one be outside on the chain while the other is out free in the house. With the extra hours at work lately he is having to spend more and more time in the kennel and for a dog his size it is not fair. He loves pup cups and car rides.

Boss is a very loving and sweet dog. He loves to cuddle and knows a few basic commands. He is good with kids and loves licking them in the face. He will be 5 years old the day after Christmas. He does not realize that he is not a lap dog and is completely unaware of his size! Lol Him and his brother recently started not getting along so I have to keep the separated at all times. Both of them cannot be out and about in the house at the same time. He has become increasingly jealous of his brother and any attention he gets which causes him to act out and have accidents in the house. I do not have a big enough yard for him. It is not fair for him to not have the room he needs to run and play. With the longer hours I have at work it is causing him to have more time in his kennel which is not fair for a dog his size. He does well on car rides and enjoys looking out the window! Walks well on a leash and harness.

Story
Ava is a sweet, loving, very friendly one-year old pure-bred Great Dane pup. We got her from a breeder whens he was 8 weeks old (she was the cutest puppy!!) She was the calmest one of the liter and the the most gray one of the bunch! She loves going to doggy daycare and running around with her doggy friends at her doggy pre-school. She went to a one-week board and train at Spot On Dog Training, so she will have free training help sessions (I believe it is 4 per year) for her lifetime! They are also able to answer questions for you and help you out since she has been boarded and trained at their facility. She still is very much a puppy in spirit, so she loves to pay and chew on her puppy toys (which is part of our reasoning for needing to re-home her). We have another dog at home who is 7 years old and our other dog has been very un-predictable towards Ava. Ava just wants to play and have fun all the time, but our other dog lashes out at very random times. It is unfair/unsafe to Ava.

I came in on the skinnier side (hey, rescue life isn’t exactly a buffet), but I’m filling out nicely thanks to regular meals, snacks and love... lots and lots of love!! At 2yrs and 70lbs I’m already the total package: housebroken, crate trained, and doggy-door certified. I love people of all sizes, though my big, playful energy is better matched with bigger kids and medium-to-large doggie siblings. Small pups might find my enthusiasm a little…extra. But don’t worry—I’m a gentleman and happily back off if another dog says “nah, bro.” (Even Chad’s grumpy old pit bull approves.) My hobbies? Oh, just the usual—water splashing, toy stealing (ahem…sharing), and epic backyard zoomies. I walk like a dream on leash and would love to be your partner for strolls, hikes, or jogs. Underneath all the silliness, I’m a soft-hearted guy who just wants a family to call my own.   If you're in the market for a dog with the most soulful, kind eyes, look no further. Sweet Meredith may look like a cute senior pup, but she's actually only 3-4 years old! This  90lb girl spent a short amount of time in a foster home, (from Cleveland City Dogs), and her foster mom said she was a bit shy of the crate, but then ended being wonderful in the home anyways and didn't need the crate. She was house trained, and potty trained, and was chill in the house and a perfect guest that loved her foster mom very much. Fast forward to her present situation. She's been in a home where things are not quite working out, and we feel it was just not the right match for Meredith! Between school and work, Meredith is needing just a bit more than what is available for her. So we are going to try to find a new forever home for her!! We do not know how she will do with cats, and proper introductions will be required if other dogs are in the home. She was being worked on with leash training in her foster home.
