Eli is a very loving dog that loves laying on the couch and watching tv! He likes sleeping in the bed with you but tends to be a bed hog! He loves playing but does get on the rougher side of playing at times. He is house trained and knows a couple of basic commands. He will be 5 years old the day after Christmas. He thinks he is a lap dog and has no concept of how big he actually is. Here recently him and his brother have not been getting along so I have to keep them separated at all times. Both of them cannot be out and about in the house at the same time. I do not have the yard for him to be able to run and play like he should and now it's winter so I cant let one be outside on the chain while the other is out free in the house. With the extra hours at work lately he is having to spend more and more time in the kennel and for a dog his size it is not fair. He loves pup cups and car rides.

Boss is a very loving and sweet dog. He loves to cuddle and knows a few basic commands. He is good with kids and loves licking them in the face. He will be 5 years old the day after Christmas. He does not realize that he is not a lap dog and is completely unaware of his size! Lol Him and his brother recently started not getting along so I have to keep the separated at all times. Both of them cannot be out and about in the house at the same time. He has become increasingly jealous of his brother and any attention he gets which causes him to act out and have accidents in the house. I do not have a big enough yard for him. It is not fair for him to not have the room he needs to run and play. With the longer hours I have at work it is causing him to have more time in his kennel which is not fair for a dog his size. He does well on car rides and enjoys looking out the window! Walks well on a leash and harness.

Hi there, my name is Yami and I am a big soft heart wrapped up in a 100 pound body. I know I look like a confident girl, but I am actually a little shy when we first meet. Give me a few kind words and I promise you will see my true self come shining through. I am calm, gentle, and very sweet by nature. Once I trust you, I turn into a goofy girl who loves to make you smile. I get along well with other dogs, kids, and even cats, so I fit right in with lots of different families. I might be house broken already, as I kept a very clean kennel at the shelter before coming to Happy Bark. I do not jump on people, even though I am a big girl, but I will admit I do not always remember just how big I am. I could use a little practice on my leash manners, nothing fancy, just some patient guidance and encouragement. I am eager to please and I really do try my best. If you are looking for a loyal companion with a calm soul and a playful side waiting to bloom, I might just be your girl. All I need is a little patience, a lot of love, and a place to call home.
