Story
🐾 MEET KULU — 75 POUNDS OF PURE JOY! ❤️ Kulu came to us under heartbreaking circumstances. Sadly, his owner passed away, and deputies from the Coos County Sheriff’s Office brought him to us around 11 PM last night. Kulu is approximately 10–11 years old, weighs 75 pounds, and appears to be an Irish Wolfhound/Retriever mix. He spent the night in our home, and I can tell you that this boy is an absolute gentleman! He is completely housebroken, has wonderful house manners, and gets along beautifully with other dogs. Despite his age, he still has a playful side and such a sweet personality. He truly is 75 pounds of pure joy! 🥰 He does have a limp in his left hind leg, which we will are taking to his vet about. I was able to make some phone calls to local veterinary clinics and discovered that Kulu has received consistent veterinary care through Ocean Blvd Veterinary Clinic. It certainly sounds like this sweet boy was very loved and well cared for throughout his life. He is also neutered and microchipped. 💔 My heart breaks for this boy. He has lost the only home and person he knew, and now, at 10 or 11 years old, he finds himself starting over. What Kulu needs most is a loving home, a comfortable place to rest his head, and someone willing to give him the love and companionship he deserves during his golden years. He has so much love left to give, and I would absolutely love to see this sweet gentleman find a wonderful family.
