Story
Meet Ruby Rain! This gorgeous girl is Ruby Rain. She is currently about 4 months old, and we believe she may be a Great Dane/Lab mix, but with rescue it's always a guess! What we do know for sure is that Ruby Rain is absolutely beautiful and is one of the many puppies desperately needing a safe and loving future. Shelters in the area she came from are facing heartbreaking overcrowding, and puppies like Ruby need families willing to give them the chance they deserve. Ruby Rain is the total package, sweet, loving, playful, cuddly, and absolutely overflowing with affection. If her favorite thing in the world isn't her people, it's probably a very close tie between her people and her toys. This girl LOVES toys. Stuffies, squeaky toys, crinkly toys, giant toys, tiny toys, Ruby is not picky. If it's a toy, she's all in. Watch Ruby's video here to fall in love! https://youtu.be/ayQ4vanYXHQ?si=WGicEu-Cgm4q_j8p When she's not busy carrying toys around or entertaining herself, Ruby would love nothing more than to curl up beside you for a nap. She has a real appreciation for the finer things in life, like cozy couches, warm blankets, and midday snuggle sessions. If you're looking for a puppy who will happily join you for both adventures and lazy afternoons, Ruby is your girl. And can we talk about how stunning she is? Ruby has a sleek, shiny black coat that practically glows in the sunlight, huge floppy Great Dane ears that bounce when she walks, and the cutest little white streak running down her nose. She somehow manages to be both elegant and completely adorable at the same time. Her sweet face and soulful eyes make it nearly impossible to say no to her. Most of all, Ruby Rain loves people. She is an extremely affectionate puppy who wants to be close to her humans, soak up attention, and hand out kisses whenever possible. She has the kind of loving personality that makes everyone she meets feel special. Like all puppies, Ruby is still learning about the world around her and will need a family committed to training, socialization, routine, and all the dedication that puppyhood requires. Implementing structure, boundaries, and positive experiences early on will help her grow into the amazing adult dog she's already showing signs of becoming. We require adopters to begin crate training immediately upon arrival home, which helps with potty training, confidence building, energy management, and developing healthy habits. Ruby Rain is ready to fill her future family's home with toys, cuddles, kisses, and endless love. If you're looking for a loyal best friend with giant floppy ears and an even bigger heart, Ruby Rain may be your perfect match. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Meet Roxy Reese! Roxy Reese is about 4 months old, and we believe she may be a Great Dane/Lab mix, though with rescue that's always our best guess. What we do know for sure is that this gorgeous girl has all the ingredients for becoming an absolutely incredible family dog. Roxy is the kind of puppy that people instantly fall in love with. She has a sleek, shiny black coat, adorable white markings on her chest, giant floppy ears that seem to have a mind of their own, and the biggest puppy paws you've ever seen. Add in her long, lanky legs and sweet puppy face, and she turns heads everywhere she goes. She's beautiful now, but she's only going to grow into an even more stunning dog. As gorgeous as she is, Roxy's personality is what truly steals hearts. Watch her video here to see her personality in action! https://youtu.be/s8CpqIHEtGg?si=ZpiPQ3wUwsu2S2Ix This girl is a lover through and through. If given the choice between almost anything else and cuddling with her people, she's choosing her people every time. Roxy absolutely melts into your arms when you hold her and will happily shower you with the sweetest puppy kisses. She has a way of looking at you that makes you feel like you're the most important person in the world. Her favorite place is wherever her humans are. Roxy is also incredibly smart and eager to learn. She's very treat motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding for both her and her future family. She loves figuring things out, enjoys positive attention, and is already showing signs of being a puppy who will thrive with consistency and guidance. Like any puppy, she enjoys toys, exploring, and playtime, but she's not one of those puppies who is constantly on the go. Roxy has a wonderful balance of playful energy and affectionate snuggles. She can have fun with her toys, investigate something new, and then happily settle in beside you for cuddle time. Because she's still so young, Roxy will need a family committed to all the important parts of puppyhood, including socialization, training, routine, and structure. Every day is a learning experience, and helping her navigate the world with positive experiences will allow her to grow into the confident, well-rounded adult dog she's meant to be. What makes Roxy so special is how deeply she loves. She isn't just affectionate, she genuinely wants to connect with her people. She's the puppy who will greet you like you've been gone forever, even if you only stepped out for a minute. She's the puppy who wants to curl up next to you while you watch TV, follow you around the house, and remind you every single day how loved you are. If you're looking for a loyal best friend with giant floppy ears, long legs, a beautiful black coat, and an endless supply of kisses, Roxy Reese might just be your perfect match. Story
Meet Misty! She's a smart lady who is smart as a whip! She's crate trained, mastered many commands (sit, down, off, mat, enough, go to your room, here, all done- more than most kids :). She loves to run, play fetch and be wherever you are! She's a year and a half old, and was lucky enough to have professional training donated to help her find her forever home. Whoever adopts her will receive at least one free hand off session from her trainer to help her transition go perfectly! Her ideal family would be somewhat active (she needs to run around a yard at least a few times per day). She gets along well with other dogs, but calmer dogs are best. Misty loves to play, but she can get very excited if the other dog is too energetic! She would do well with older children. Younger children and cats would require a lot of supervision. Her trainer thinks she would be a great agility dog, but she is smart enough to do anything you want to train her to do! She will require some active parenting to teach her the rules of your house, because she is so smart, she may try to make her own activities if nothing fun is provided! She's potty trained now (we had some overnight accidents until she started going in her crate at night). She's a great dog with a good head on her shoulders, and she wants to know if you are the one for her! $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.

Story
Meet Boone – A Gentle Soul Ready for a Fresh Start Boone is a striking Great Dane and Black Mouth Cur mix at 65 pounds with soulful eyes and a quiet, thoughtful demeanor. Rescued after being abandoned on the roadside, Boone's past suggests he was used as a hunting dog and likely spent much of his life confined to a kennel. This history has left him shy and cautious at first, but with time, patience, and kindness, Boone reveals his deeply affectionate side. Once he begins to trust, Boone becomes a devoted companion who craves gentle affection and enjoys peaceful moments with his person. He thrives in a calm environment and takes comfort in the presence of other dogs—he gets along wonderfully with canine companions and would benefit from a home with another friendly dog to help boost his confidence. Currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, Boone is looking for a foster or forever home in Central Texas only. He needs a loving, understanding family who can help him continue to blossom at his own pace. His ideal adopter would be someone familiar with hounds or someone who appreciates the gentle, loyal nature of these incredible breeds. If you're a hound enthusiast or simply someone with a kind heart and a quiet home, Boone may be the perfect match for you. He’s not just looking for a home—he’s looking for someone who sees his potential and will offer the love and patience he’s never known before. Boone is ready to start again. Are you the one to help him heal? To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. To apply directly for Boone click the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-669 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
