Story
Hi, my name is Rosanna, and I’m a sweet, affectionate girl who’s been learning all about life inside a home for the past couple of weeks.I absolutely love relaxing on the couch, especially if cuddling is involved. When I’m not napping, I enjoy learning how to walk nicely on a leash, hanging out with other animals, and supervising the yard. I take my job as neighborhood squirrel announcer very seriously and will happily let you know when one is nearby.I’m still working on my house training and crate training, but I’m trying my best and improving every day. I walk on a leash, enjoy meeting other dogs, and I’m friendly with new people. I get excited easily, especially outside, but I also have a calm, thoughtful side — sometimes I’ll just sit and watch the world go by.One of my cutest traits is my dramatic apology routine. When I’m corrected, I’ll gently place my head on your foot as if to say, “I’m sorry, please forgive me.” It works every time.I don’t tear up toys or household items, I enjoy structured mealtimes, and I’m eager to keep learning with a patient, loving family. If you’re looking for a cuddly couch companion with a little personality and a lot of heart, I might be the girl for you.My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays

The most accurate and up to date information about adoptable pets is on our official website at www.caretoadopt.org. Meet Kay!Kay is a loving, smart, but protective girl. She would do best with a single person who's willing to put Kay up if company comes over. She is very loving & sweet with us and our staff, but has been selective with people once in a home. Kay is leash trained and house trained, doesn't mess up anything in the home.Adoption Fee: $75Requirements: Experienced & Patient dog person, Fenced yardAn adopter should expect it to take time for Kay to settle into a new home and routine, take things slow, don't have company over until a bond is established. We can help you with the process.  Kay is living in our boarding facility and does well with our staff ages 14 to 60 years old, males and females. Kay has never shown an aggression towards us. When she was adopted out previously, she did charge some family members.Kay's previous pet parents spent a lot of time with her, taught her many commands, and deeply loved them. Sadly, they fell on hard times, lost their home and surrenderd all 4 pets of their to CARE. Kay once lived with a doberman female and 2 senior cats. If interested in giving this sweet girl the forever home she deserves, apply today!  A completed adoption application and home visit are required for approval to adopt a CARE dog. Out of state adoptions okay. All dogs receive a distemper/parvovirus vaccine(s), kennel cough vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, monthly heartworm prevention, flea & tick prevention and treatment if needed, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE.The most accurate and complete information about available dogs can be found on our official website at www.caretoadopt.org.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.www.caretoadopt.org Adoption saves lives!
