Story
Remy is 4.5 years old. Very sweet to adults and kids but is aggressive toward other dogs and will kill live stock( she loves to eat our chickens) . Needs to be an only dog home. She is fine with cats also but I prefer she go to a home where she is the only animal. She has had over 3k in training, where she was boarded for 3 weeks. she is wonderful on a leash and will stay by your side with no pulling at all. We just cant let her hurt our other dog anymore or we would keep her because she really is just the sweetest and loves to cuddle. She is over 100 pounds but thinks she's a lap pup. She dosnt knock my kids over but does forget how big she is so watch your toes. Really sweet girl, we call her a velcro pup cause she will be glued to you!

Story
🍀 Kiryu: Your Lucky Charm in Giant Form 🍀 They say everyone hopes to find a little luck on St. Patrick’s Day… but what if your luck came in the form of a very handsome, very sweet, very large Great Dane mix named Kiryu? 😍 At 7 years old, Kiryu has officially reached the wonderful stage of life where he’s traded puppy chaos for calm companionship and big-hearted loyalty. He’s a gentle giant with a soft soul who truly loves everyone he meets. Don’t let the size fool you...underneath that big frame is a total sweetheart who just wants to be close to his people. 🐕 Kiryu is the kind of dog who believes the best things in life are simple: • Kind words • Gentle pets • A comfy spot near his favorite human (bonus points if it’s the couch or big, soft bed) 💙 He’s affectionate, loving, and known to lean in close when he gets attention, which is basically his way of giving you a big Kiryu hug. People often call him a “big baby,” and honestly… they’re not wrong. 😊 While some people search for four-leaf clovers, the truth is, finding a dog like Kiryu is the real jackpot. He’s loyal, steady, and ready to share his enormous heart with a family who will love him right back. 💞 So this month, if you’ve been wishing for a little extra luck in your life, Kiryu might just be the lucky charm you’ve been waiting for. ✨ Because the best kind of luck… is finding the dog who’s meant to be yours. 🍀🐾 ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://iamdogrescue.org/adoption-application/ ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.

Story
This is August, she is 4 years old. August is housebroken. She knows a few commands like sit and kennel. August has been to obedience school. She loves looking out the window, chewing on hard toys and running around outside. August will lean against you if you are sitting down next her. She is a very smart pup. She is a fearful dog and will bark a lot at things that scare her. She will need someone who is willing to work with her on her fear. She is good with other dogs, but not cats. She is just too rough with cats.

Story
DOB: 2/1/2023 Weight: 104 lbs Stay tuned for more photos Blue was purchased from a breeder in 2023 and is being surrendered by his family due to him not getting along with the cats in the home. He is house and crate trained, knows basic commands such as sit and stay and does well with children. He would do best in a home that can provide him lots of exercise, as he's very high energy. Blue is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He loves toys, and rides well in the car and is affectionate. Blue walk ok on his leash but could use more work.  His adoption fee is $275 and you can apply to adopt him here: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society 02/01/2023 We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program.
