Story
Remy is 4.5 years old. Very sweet to adults and kids but is aggressive toward other dogs and will kill live stock( she loves to eat our chickens) . Needs to be an only dog home. She is fine with cats also but I prefer she go to a home where she is the only animal. She has had over 3k in training, where she was boarded for 3 weeks. she is wonderful on a leash and will stay by your side with no pulling at all. We just cant let her hurt our other dog anymore or we would keep her because she really is just the sweetest and loves to cuddle. She is over 100 pounds but thinks she's a lap pup. She dosnt knock my kids over but does forget how big she is so watch your toes. Really sweet girl, we call her a velcro pup cause she will be glued to you!

Story
Hi there, I’m Norbert (59908935)! I’m a big, handsome 2 year old Great Dane mix (all 76 lbs of love!) dreaming of a home to call my own this Christmas. I’m a happy, friendly guy who already knows SIT, SHAKE, and DOWN... pretty impressive for a big boy  like me, right? I love making new friends, spreading cheer, and showing off my good manners. All I’m wishing for this holiday season is a cozy home, a loving family, and a spot where I can stretch out and be your loyal best friend. Could you be the one to make my Christmas wish come true?    Check out all the adoptable animals on the shelter's website! https://www.collincountytx.gov/Services/Animal-Services/adoptable-pets All adoptions include spay/neuter, microchip and first round of vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit me at Collin County Animal Services - 4750 Community Ave, McKinney TX. Shelter is open Tues-Fri 11-6, Sat-Sun 11-5 December 21, 2025, 10:00 am

Story
Whitney is a beautiful designer dane who is a love bug. She has had some training and is house crate and leash trained. She has lived with several dogs of all sizes, horses and adult humans. She is respectful of the baby gate and loves to sunbathe with the other dogs. Whitney is very sweet and well mannered.. her mom was a dane and dad a great Pyrenees/ schnauzer mix. A true southern bell she hates the cold! Because Whitney has no idea of her size we are looking for a home without children and other medium/large dogs. Whitney is available for adoption in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex Visit danerescue.net to find out more info about our adoption process and complete the adoption application.

Story
Hi there! I`m an adorable, 86-pound furball who absolutely loves food and people. When I first got to my foster home, I was a bit skeptical of people and sudden moves freaked me out. But now, I`ve learned that most people are pretty cool and just want me to love on them. I`m sweet as can be, and I adore petting—don`t stop or I`ll annoy you to no end! I`ve also mastered the `go lay down` command and I`m pretty good about following it.I`m a big fan of going on walks, though there are a few things I`m not too keen on. Fast-moving objects like runners, bikers, and motorcycles make me nervous, so watch out! And if we encounter another dog on our walk, you`ll see me getting a bit anxious.I`m okay with my crate, especially if you entice me with a treat. I might whine a bit, but once you leave, I`ll settle down. Just remember, the crate is for when you`re gone—otherwise, I`m happy to be out and about. My foster mom doesn`t let me sleep on the bed, and while I understand, I`ve been known to sneak onto the couch when she`s not looking (shh, don`t tell her!).There are a couple of things I really don`t like: the vacuum and the lawnmower. I think they`re out to get me.But overall, I`m a loving and loyal companion who`s always ready for some affection and a good walk (as long as we avoid those fast-moving and four-legged things)!Abby is available for adoption in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex. Visit danerescue.net to find out more info about our adoption process and complete the adoption application.
