Story
Meet Misty! She's a smart lady who is smart as a whip! She's crate trained, mastered many commands (sit, down, off, mat, enough, go to your room, here, all done- more than most kids :). She loves to run, play fetch and be wherever you are! She's a year and a half old, and was lucky enough to have professional training donated to help her find her forever home. Whoever adopts her will receive at least one free hand off session from her trainer to help her transition go perfectly! Her ideal family would be somewhat active (she needs to run around a yard at least a few times per day). She gets along well with other dogs, but calmer dogs are best. Misty loves to play, but she can get very excited if the other dog is too energetic! She would do well with older children. Younger children and cats would require a lot of supervision. Her trainer thinks she would be a great agility dog, but she is smart enough to do anything you want to train her to do! She will require some active parenting to teach her the rules of your house, because she is so smart, she may try to make her own activities if nothing fun is provided! She's potty trained now (we had some overnight accidents until she started going in her crate at night). She's a great dog with a good head on her shoulders, and she wants to know if you are the one for her! $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.

Story
Bronco is a sweet dog who loves chill naps and relaxed walks. Unfortunately his former family is going through a divorce and neither can take care of him anymore, so he has been staying in the home of a family friend for a few months. He is great with kids, non-aggressive with other animals but very curious. His family told me he was being medicated for anxiety issues, but in general I have not found him to be reactive, and he is never destructive. Most of the time he is quiet and relatively relaxed. New situations or people can make him a little anxious, he wants to jump and "hug" new people when he first meets them, and he gets very nervous during car rides. But as I've worked with him, he has been happy to learn new things and picks up on routines and expectations without a lot of difficulty. Bronco is super sweet and really low maintenance for a big dog, I just don't have the schedule to give him the attention he needs and deserves.

Story
Burrow is just over 2 years old. I reduced him from the SPCA and have enjoyed taking him to the shore or the park and watching him play. He is a large lap dog and loves attention. Unfortunately I am being relocated for work and will not be able to take him with me. I would like for a loving home to take him in.

Story
Jax is a playful, protective and smart 8 yr old Great Dane/Akita mix. He has been a member of the same family since he was 6 weeks old. He has grown up with his 8-yr old "brother" Atlas (Doberman). His humans have 2 young children and a young cat. He has played and shared space with visiting family member's dogs and gets along well with them. Jax is a chewer so strong toys are a must. He is protective of his humans but has never been aggressive or had any biting incidents. He is housebroken and crate trained. He roams the house freely but will go to his kennel without fuss when instructed to do so, or when he just needs some quiet time away from the hubbub of a house with another big, energetic dog and 2 young boys. He loves to play outside but doesn't like rain. Jax would probably adjust best if he were able to remain with his "brother" Atlas, who we are also trying to rehome. They are very close in age and they have been together all their lives.
