She was extremely scared and afraid of her surroundings and all people. We pulled her from a high kill facility and knew that she was willing to work with and for her to have a fair chance at life. She was only 10 months old at the time and did not know what a loving hand from a human was; we were determined to change that for her; and that we did. She has settled in well in her foster home and is really thriving. She has really blossomed into the best girl we knew she would and could be. Grace is a smart girl with a big heart. She LOVES cats and ALL other dogs. She is a huge fan of kids as well, simply adores them. Grace (named after amazing grace) also knows as, Gracie Sue, Is the absolute best dog with such a sweet soul. She literally does not have a mean bone in her body. On top of her being the best girl, she is the most beautiful girl. Shes a showstopper with the prettiest eyes and sable color coat. Her hair is so shiny and sleek. You cannot go wrong with this girl. She will love you for her whole life. Grace underwent surgery in early February 2025 for hip dysplasia. She had a procedure done on both back legs to relieve the pain and ensure she has the best quality of life. She is running and playing and so happy to be pain free. She has healed fantastically.  Grace would thrive best in a home with other dogs or a single dog who likes to play and be adventurous with. She very much needs the companionship. She is not chicken friendly, But likes cats.    She is available for adoption. She is fully vetted, Microchipped and spayed. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Online Adoption Application April 13, 2025, 8:26 am

Story
Gracie is a sweet, gentle giant. She has been raised around kids, dogs and many cats. Lots of foster cats and kittens throughout the years as well and has always been gentle and kind. She is about 9 years old, in excellent health and just wants to be a lap dog. She is such a wonderfully sweet girl but our family is relocating overseas and are not in a position to bring her with us.

Story
We adopted Olive when she was about 1 year old from Petsmart. She has been a great family dog for us. Our family has to travel for work for the next year, so we are no longer in a position to take care of her. She is now 5. We have two small children and she has been great with them. She is very patient and lazy. When we first got her, we lived in a small apartment, and she actually did well in it. She is big and doesnt move around much. She would not be good for someone really active who wants a dog to run or go for long walks. She is not crate trained and refuses to get close to a crate. Other than that, she is a good listener and we have not had any issues with her. We also have three big beds, leashes, and lots of toys to give away with her. Overall, she is a great family dog or a low-energy companion.
