Story
Breaker is up for adoption in TX, NE and PNW (excluding MA)! Breaker is a 1-year-old, 65-pound Great Dane/Boxer mix with a heart as big as his goofy grin. This splash-happy pup LOVES the water—whether he’s chasing toys into the pool, splashing through a creek, or just romping around the yard, Breaker is always up for adventure. With the playful energy of a Boxer and the gentle, loyal nature of a Dane, he’s the best of both worlds—equal parts fun and affection. Breaker is dog-friendly (with pups his size), loves people, and is happiest when he’s part of the action. He’s making great progress with crate training and is learning his puppy manners, especially when treats are involved. Breaker wasn't given much structure as a pup so, Breaker sometimes tries to play bite to get his way. Even after a board-and-train program, he will need a family committed to consistent, positive reinforcement training to help him reach his full potential. Breaker would thrive in an active home with space to play and maybe even a doggy sibling to share his adventures with. If you’re looking for a loyal, silly, water-loving companion who will keep you laughing and fill your days with joy, Breaker is your guy! To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. To apply directly for Breaker click the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-576 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. Story
Meet Boone – A Gentle Soul Ready for a Fresh Start Boone is a striking Great Dane and Black Mouth Cur mix at 65 pounds with soulful eyes and a quiet, thoughtful demeanor. Rescued after being abandoned on the roadside, Boone's past suggests he was used as a hunting dog and likely spent much of his life confined to a kennel. This history has left him shy and cautious at first, but with time, patience, and kindness, Boone reveals his deeply affectionate side. Once he begins to trust, Boone becomes a devoted companion who craves gentle affection and enjoys peaceful moments with his person. He thrives in a calm environment and takes comfort in the presence of other dogs—he gets along wonderfully with canine companions and would benefit from a home with another friendly dog to help boost his confidence. Currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, Boone is looking for a foster or forever home in Central Texas only. He needs a loving, understanding family who can help him continue to blossom at his own pace. His ideal adopter would be someone familiar with hounds or someone who appreciates the gentle, loyal nature of these incredible breeds. If you're a hound enthusiast or simply someone with a kind heart and a quiet home, Boone may be the perfect match for you. He’s not just looking for a home—he’s looking for someone who sees his potential and will offer the love and patience he’s never known before. Boone is ready to start again. Are you the one to help him heal? To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Krackers is the most loving dog I’ve ever met. He’s never met a dog he didn’t like, he doesn’t bark at other dogs- unless you’re a terrier terrorizing him on the other side of the fence. Krackers doesn’t know he’s a gentle giant he believes he’s a little purring kitten. Krackers just wants to be loved and walked. He’s a good boy. He deserves to run in streams and sprint through open fields. And be with a loving family that can walk him anytime and take him on adventures.

Story
Meet Misty! She's a smart lady who is smart as a whip! She's crate trained, mastered many commands (sit, down, off, mat, enough, go to your room, here, all done- more than most kids :). She loves to run, play fetch and be wherever you are! She's a year and a half old, and was lucky enough to have professional training donated to help her find her forever home. Whoever adopts her will receive at least one free hand off session from her trainer to help her transition go perfectly! Her ideal family would be somewhat active (she needs to run around a yard at least a few times per day). She gets along well with other dogs, but calmer dogs are best. Misty loves to play, but she can get very excited if the other dog is too energetic! She would do well with older children. Younger children and cats would require a lot of supervision. Her trainer thinks she would be a great agility dog, but she is smart enough to do anything you want to train her to do! She will require some active parenting to teach her the rules of your house, because she is so smart, she may try to make her own activities if nothing fun is provided! She's potty trained now (we had some overnight accidents until she started going in her crate at night). She's a great dog with a good head on her shoulders, and she wants to know if you are the one for her! $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.

These pups are in San Antonio, Texas too!

Story
Meet Anna. Anna is estimated to be 6 years old, she is spayed and current on all of her vaccines and preventions. Anna was found roaming the streets of a rural area. She was shoo'd off from so many houses, unsure of where to go. She was brought into a local clinic to check for a microchip. She was chipped, but unfortunately the microchip was not registered. That was it, the end of her rope. She was set up for euthanasia- that's when we got the call! Anna is as sweet as can be, a "gentle giant". She was wonderful for the vet and technicians. She does great on a leash and has shown us that she is very potty trained. Anna has not been dog tested yet, but is not reactive towards the other dogs here at the facility. We believe Miss Anna would do best in a calm home. She has a very low energy level. All she needs a human that loves to cuddle and a comfy place to sleep. Reach out to ask any additional questions or to schedule a meet and greet!

Story
She was born 10-14-2024. We would like for Blackie to go to a family that will love and take care of her. She and her siblings are very protective of their home. Her mother is a Bull Mastiff and had a total of 6 puppies. Unfortunately, we need to put 4 puppies up for adoption by the end of the year or my dad will have to put us down.
