Big boy Maverick is a transplant from an overcrowded shelter in the south. Sleek and well-mannered, this giant of a dog is surprisingly easy to walk on leash, gliding elegantly along at your side taking in all the new sights. He seems pretty unflappable for having landed in a completely new place, so it appears he pretty comfortable meeting new people and trusting them. Pretty cool for a dog tied on a porch with another dog at his "presumed" former home. Having been with a companion, it is likely that Maverick will make other dog friends when the chemistry is right. Estimated to be around 5 years old, Maverick is over 100 lbs. but happily places his head in the laps of dog lovers for a face-petting!

Meet Gemma, a Great Dane Mix with a heart as big as her paws! Gemma is as sweet as sweet can be and she loves nothing more than being with her people. Her favorite things are belly rubs, cuddles, naps and snacks! At 3-4 years old Gemma is fairly calm but she still enjoys playing with toys, a romp with her dog friends (no cats please), and hilariously huge zoomie sessions. She’s the perfect mix of playful and chill with enough love (110 lbs worth) to fill your home and your couch. Gemma has been through basic obedience, is crate trained and seems house broken. Tito is a 3 year old purebred, fawnequin Great Dane who we got as a puppy. She is very sweet and affectionate and also intelligent and stubborn. We have 3 young children and several other children have recently moved to our neighborhood so there is a ton of “energy” in and around our house. Tito wants nothing more than to protect her kids so all of this activity and running and squealing has been difficult for her to handle and we think she would thrive in a much more laid back home where she can be the center of attention.
