Story
Hope (A141438) is a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees who weighed 51.8 pounds on intake! 03/10/26 This gorgeous, sweet pup is Hope! Hope was known to be timid around new people; however, while at the shelter, she quickly warmed up to the staff and is just the bestest girl! Hope was also said to have previously done well around babies and children! She can be selective towards other dogs so ensuring you are making appropriate introductions are key. She also has no experience around smaller critters like cats, pocket pets, or livestock/poultry. Hope was an outside dog, so she will need a patient owner who can help her adjust to indoor living. However, if you have the time and energy she was described as a real sweetheart! If you are interested in meeting Hope, please let us know! March 12, 2026, 4:54 pm

Story
Ivy (A141446) is a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees who weighed 55.3 pounds on intake! 03/11/26 This pretty girl is Ivy! Ivy was surrendered to the shelter because her owner had too many dogs to care for. She arrived at the shelter with her sisters, also available for adoption! These girls have previously lived outdoors and will need help adjusting to indoor living. They have spent some time indoors and were said to be figuring out potty training but are not fully housebroken. We encourage their next owners to bring them to a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on their manners and build their confidence. They were described as very sweet dogs, and their owner felt that with some time and patience, their personalities would truly shine through. They were said to do well with babies and children. They can be initially shy around new people, but do warm up with time (and treats)! They were known to jump up on people for attention and pets. When it came to being around other animals, it was advised that they be fed separately from other dogs, but that they did get along well with the other dogs in the home. They have no experience with cats, pocket pets, or livestock. Please ensure that you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new animals. If you are interested in meeting Ivy, please let us know! March 12, 2026, 4:54 pm

Story
Ray (A141440) is a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees who weighed 70.5 pounds on intake! 03/11/26 This beautiful mother-daughter duo is Appa and Ray! They were surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of their own. We are not requiring that they be adopted together, but if you are looking for two dogs that are already established with each other, these ladies could be the ones for you. They were pet dogs and are used to living an indoor lifestyle. They were stated to be kennel trained, housebroken, ride well in a car, and know their basic commands. Both of these girls have histories of ear infections and were placed on a limited-ingredient diet while at the shelter. This is something their next owner(s) will want to keep an eye on and consult with their vet if they see any issues arising. Ray was treated by the shelter vet for a severe ear infection on arrival at the shelter. It is recommended that her adoptive owner follows up with their vet if it is not fully resolved by 3/21. Appa and Ray were said to love people and have previously done well with people of all ages! These ladies were known to jump up on people and give â&#194&#128&#194&#156hugsâ&#194&#128&#194&#157. Something to keep in mind with small children in the home. They were described as â&#194&#128&#194&#156wearyâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 around other animals and may enjoy being the only pet/pets in the home. If you plan to introduce them to other animals, do so in a slow, safe, and controlled environment to help set them up for success. They were described as loving and caring dogs who deserve to find good homes. If you are interested in meeting Ray, Appa, or the pair, please let us know! March 11, 2026, 9:13 pm
